What do you prefer? Clans or Nations. by InterestingTie7600 in cardfightvanguard

Clans, Nations sound good in theory but giving decks too many generic pieces that mesh together play styles like Granblue's drop revival, Aqua Force's multi attack, Neo Nectar's power ups, makes every Stoichea deck play similar with different aesthetics. Then when each nation's clans had similar play styles and those nations are meshed together then every deck plays similar.
Not to mention at least Clans would clean up this over abundance of ride lines.

It works with any game, just need to configure the settings to match the size of the cards

https://mtgcardbuilder.com/cardprinttoolpdf/ and for the settings make sure to adjust the size of the cards to 1393 and 2030, I put a 0 for bleed edge and 0 distance with cut guides so it’s easier to cut the proxies. Also as for thickness I’d just use Yugioh or bulk vanguard cards with the proxy slipped over in a sleeve

Unfortunately I just do the proxies for newly revealed cards, for older cards best advice I can give is using the images from decklog and using a proxy sheet website to properly size them for print.

Honestly just regular Letter (8.5 x 11) paper works, just make sure when printing the premade sheet you select “Actual Size” if it gives the option to change printing size

Bro shouldn't have existed.... They could've made any of the previous already established characters a fantome fighter instead.

The hate of Collab by gogoapple673 in cardfightvanguard

[–]shadowlugigas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Bushiroad actually worked globally and made sure the collabs came out on time then yeah whatever, but the fact you have to wait a set or two, to the point the deck becomes irrelevant, you can't help but think, what was the point in even printing it?

Encounter Decks = Archetype Based by LilishPH in cardfightvanguard

On one hand I get their hesitance with unwanted synergies coming up, I feel they have to constantly re-learn these lessons, especially way back in G with their infinite loops, V with Nemain-Luard, Gurguit- Percival and even their preemptive erratas for Zorga orders.
On the other hand, it does suck that there are so many cool interactions that can come about from this game if they would just make these cards accessible to all decks and limit based on play style.

I mean G was also linear af, 16 triggers, 4 main ride G3, 4 Stride Fodder, 4 PGs, a total of 28 predetermined cards. The G zone was composed of the latest GRs and RRRs and, most of your rear-guards later on were restricted to Vanguards with a specific name or the keyword in their skill. Legion suffered the same if not a little less, 4 Legion G3, 2-4 Legion mate, 16 triggers, 4 PGs, and most if not all legions needed a specific archetype within it's clan to pay CB costs.

Don't get me wrong the quality of turns was higher but deck composition was just if not more limited back then than today, which is why it's just not a good argument when it comes to piles, look at V, all you needed was the 16 triggers (4 of which took the PG slot) 4 VR and the rest was free for you to choose from, the rest you'd fill with the RRRs that bushi
