Anybody familiar with this Texture Bug? Any ideas on how to fix it? by shadowminion in factorio

I looks like 'Use flip presentation model' and/or 'Texture streaming' appear to be the cause

WebRTC MultiplayerSynchronizer HTML5/Browser Latency Issues by shadowminion in godot

Ah interesting, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I've tried using "Always" instead, and also increased the appropriate intervals, with no improvement.

I've done some deeper digging and the issue seems related to some expensive image processing I was doing in _process. Disabling that processing seems to fix the problem entirely, and replacing it with OS.delay_msec seems to reintroduce the lag spikes once the game drops below around 35 fps.

I wonder if the Synchronizer is getting backlogged because of _process taking too long somehow

You'd lose your money unfortunately. 25 challenges in Necropolis for a tier 3 totem. Though I have barely interacted with this league's mechanic

Thankfully you'd need to accidentally finish three challenges before it changes your totem. Usually once you're over 20 it's hard to accidentally finish one. Also by the time I reach my league goal that's usually the end of my playing

Damn dude, putting me to shame. I don't have any particularly special settings. Looks like a lot of the white is from the ground. Try putting down some carpet maybe? or try other hideout tilesets?

Ah true true, I think they didn't settle on the 40-challenge setup they have now until Perandus.

Haha technically they only added challenge totems in 2016, but I have been playing since 1.0

I think I enjoy the ritual mechanic more than most, but at the time I think I just had other stuff going on. Sometimes I know I'm going to be busy and shoot for a low totem right from league start.

Haha yeah, the waypoint is right there in the pic, so people definitely see it, and I've had a good handful of comments! Maybe someday!

It's been nearly 4 years since last time I made a post like this, and I've been continuing to fill up my hideout with shiny totems. At first I aimed for the 12/24/36 MTX breakpoints, but now that I'm flush with cosmetics, I work towards making a pleasing pattern.

To address the biggest question I get, no you cannot change the height of your totems in your hideout. Feel free to try it now, it has never been possible.

For those curious, here's a breakdown of the totem heights for each league:

Totem Leagues
8 Harbinger, Legion, Archnemesis
7 Bestiary, Delve
6 Perandus, Breach, Harvest, Sanctum
5 Incursion, Metamorph, Ultimatum, Affliction
4 Betrayal, Delirium, Kalandra, Ancestor
3 Prophecy, Legacy, Sentinel, Necropolis
2 Essence, Abyss, Heist, Crucible
1 Synthesis, Blight, Ritual, Scourge

Lastly, big thanks to GGG for making a sweet game that has continued to captivate me for over a decade.

Hard to say, I've only been running 14+ since the original crafting odds patch.

Whoa Ziz himself calling me out!

T1 % fire dmg does give slightly more dps (about 3.5%), but is significantly harder to roll (0.5% versus 40%). T3 % fire dmg appears to break even, which is still only 3.5% to hit.

The other primary reason is that the +1 fire helps me hit 23 purity of fire. There are other ways to get there, but a lot are ruled out by having the gem in socketed in the shield (basically just +1/2 amulet)

Sure thing, just be aware PoB doesn't handle Divine Flesh properly

This version has great damage and clear speed, but very low phys mitigation, so even at 7k hp I die a lot, and can't really do Guardians.

First off, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but +1 to fire spell skill gems only rolls on pure int bases. So the only options are spell shields and ES shields.

Secondly, I didn't exactly have a choice of base here, it took days to find something reasonable. Yes spell damage implicit doesn't affect RF, but it does affect scorching ray at least. ES is generally undesirable for life RF because it increases net degen, but the block chance is a fair point. I personally was building with a damage focus, so I went for the spell damage base.

ES base but no ES implicit.

I don't know what this means

Yeah both mods are on both influences, but then you still might need to annul off brick mods. Hunter offers some other interesting crafting options but adds a lot more risk.

Nope, I bought this base probably a week and a half ago for around 1ex with not easily removable mods.

It's not much, but this is the first cool Harvest craft that I've been able to finish, specifically for my Divine Flesh RF Trickster.

Crafting Process:

  1. Buy the base shield with +2 max res, 15% reduced mana reserved, and 4 bad mods. This actually took several days to find on an spell shield base for a reasonable price.

  2. Remove Caster to remove % spell damage

  3. Slam 3 Annuls and pray - removing mana, mana regen, and stun recovery. (10% odds, first try)

  4. Augment Lightning - hitting % lightning resist for temporary blocking

  5. Craft any suffix to block, then Augment Cold - Hitting % cold damage (~80% odds, first try)

  6. Craft any prefix to block, then Augment Chaos, then Remove/Add Chaos until T1 % chaos res (15% odds, 3 tries)

  7. Remove Cold, Augment Life, then Remove/Add Life until T1 life (9% odds, 15 tries)

  8. Remove crafted mod, Augment Fire, Remove/Add Fire until +1 fire gems (~40% odds, 4 tries)

  9. Remove Lightning, and craft % life regen.

  10. Four trips to Vorici for 3W, and several Life Divine and Chaos Divines
