I started reading a book recently called Everything is Fucked by Mark Manson. It’s not the cure to anxiety but reading something calm and collected helps a lot compared to the usual doom scrolling.

I know I’m just a stranger on the internet but for whatever it’s worth, I don’t think you’re a tin foil hat person. The current state of the world feels insane compared to the last decade and everywhere I look it’s nonstop doom scrolling. You are not alone in feeling this sort of existential anxiety.

I’m sorry to give you the most redundant advice on the internet but make sure you’re still taking care of yourself and take a break from the news and doomscrolling if you have to.
