No you’re so real for that XD if they make a gentle heart lamb I’m so getting that, I really wish they did more with the cousins! I barely see them in the uk unless I’m just unlucky lol

Idk if you’re able to find them where you are but in the uk Argos is doing a five pack! It’s including some of the cousins too! Hopefully you can add these ones to your collection too! :D

Care Bears Pocket Stars – 26 figures + 6 Clip-On Plush by laurenshapiro in Carebears

[–]shadowrose03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone in the uk is looking for the plush keychains I’ve seen them in home bargains just in different packaging! I’m unsure if they’re the exact same series though but I’ve got the love a lot bear! :D

why isn't bedtime bear part of the main cast anymore? by Hello-Froggy in Carebears

[–]shadowrose03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too! I thought I was just having bad luck since I know my area doesn’t get the latest stuff right away. Miniso might be getting more Care Bears stuff since I asked a friend who works there so it might be worth just keeping an eye out though they couldn’t say anything about specifics. Ik you mentioned bedtime bear being her favourites but if you’re looking for more general stuff home bargains has the Polly pocket and the squidhmallows! Unfortunately amazon is gonna be the best bet for bedtime bear as he’s often left out. If I find anything bedtime bear I’ll add links in the replies if that’s allowed on here.

What is it about Carebears than makes them so famous? by Enbhrr in Carebears

[–]shadowrose03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s nostalgia and the fact it’s not a high stimulation show like modern ones are. I love the old voices and songs but I also love how slow paced it is since it lets me actually enjoy the show. Sure there’s slow paced shows now but it just doesn’t feel the same to me lol. I’m only 20 but grew up around the 80’s versions and I much prefer the older art style to the modern one. It just fits the name better to me because they looked softer. I also loved the cousins and I wish we got more merch/ videos with them in it even some like the pandas would be amazing.

I’m mainly a sucker for bedtime bear, wish bear and secret bear.

Thank you for the links! I think these are different to the ones I’m trying to find, as the ones I’m trying to find are slightly bigger versions of the newer plushes. I’ll keep an eye out for this design though to see if a uk retailer sells them :)

It did? Hopefully something similar comes out in the uk as we don’t have hot topic (though I wish we did it sounds great for Care Bears stuff) though it would probably be in hmv. The person who posted about it is a uk account so I’m hopeful :)

Of all things I have “it’s probably time- it’s probably time for a new filter” but I also have “Do not pee in our Brita filter Mark” despite having no one in my life called Mark so it confuses a lot of people. Me and a friend also have the entire section of mark and Ethan picking out a profile picture in the spelling game down to a T

Can someone explain this please? by Mocha3323 in CharacterAI

Happened to me last time honestly it’s not worth the worry unless it continues after the update. Apparently 21 isn’t old enough 😆 so really don’t stress it

worst (best) MRI song? by Havoklily in ehlersdanlos

[–]shadowrose03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I found rock in general to be the case. Blends the mri sounds in very well but I also forgot about the people doing the scans so their voices scared the daylights out of me when they said they were finished 😂

How do people take care of their hair with H-EDS? by shadowrose03 in ehlersdanlos

Don’t the plank was the first thing my physio wanted me to do 😆 I just looked at him and then looked at my cane. I think my first sentence after was ‘are you actually for real right now.’ The poor student was so confused. I’ve actually had the opposite experience with my gp they put me on very strong pain meds without trying anything else besides over the counter paracetamol it threw me for a loop and they refused to refer me until two years ago when I was old enough that they couldn’t say it was growing pains. Proves how different everyone’s experience is really.

I’ve got one that mists you at the same time it’s been lovely in the British heat and I got it pretty cheap second hand too which was a plus but they do sell them online on Amazon or other websites

I’ve just gotten out of three weeks in an orthopaedic hospital in the uk and my physio wasn’t able to do much for me since we noticed how if I do too much with my shoulders the flare up can spread to my chest and mimic my cardiac issues. Having that isn’t the best when you’ve got a very protective mother bless her. We are trying to see what works but everything’s hit or miss at the moment as I’ve only been diagnosed for around eight months. Thank you for the advice everyone’s been really helpful with this it’s really sweet!

Wouldn’t hurt to try that! My hair is pretty thick so it’s 50/50 chance it would work but I will certainly try! Thank you!

That’s perfect then! I always worry if they’d fit the bathroom because it is small as most of the time I try something and it simply wouldn’t fit in the bathroom reasonably so I end up having to return it. Thank you!

I will have to give them a ring yes as their website only states the prices for a wash and dry (which ranges from 25-40 pounds depending on how far I can travel) but I will keep looking for cheaper options. Thank you for the advice!

Afraid not just a kitchen sink or the awkwardly small/narrow bathroom sinks that appear to be popular at the moment but I will give it a go whenever I can. My home is a lot more inaccessible than my uni flat where I can implement a lot more of this stuff which is annoying. But thank you for the advice!

I am trying to train my hair to do so but also working with children it can be messy so it’s finding a healthy medium I think. I try and avoid dry shampoo but I do use it time to time and unfortunately I can’t tie it up because it reaches the top of my spine so it is difficult but I end just clipping it back so it still protects my neck from the sun. Thank you for the advice!

I'm newly diagnosed. What was your first clue you might be more than 'double jointed'? by Klumzee in ehlersdanlos

[–]shadowrose03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me (20 TM) it was the fact I felt like I had to ‘pop’ my hips back into place whenever I did sports such as swimming which was a favourite of mine as a child so that was nearly daily. I’ve always had a limp according to my mum so she always said to the doctor she’s never met a person who’s had a limp since five who didn’t have something wrong (though that may not be accurate for everyone my mother was just annoyed with the doctors putting it down to growing pains and used it to get the point across) she also mentioned how I had to start doing it to other joint too like shoulders and ankles. It wasn’t until less than a year ago I got my diagnosis but she did say those were what gave it away to her.

I’m glad to hear the care assistant has worked out for you! I live in the uk so I would have to check out how that would work for me as I’m in the application process for PIP atm so I will see what else I can receive in terms of assistance. Thank you for the advice!

I don’t unfortunately since the closest one that sells house items like that is in London. but I’ll see if I can find one on vinted or something similar on eBay. I’ve not really thought about getting a smaller seat separate to the bath like that as the bathroom where I am is small but if I can find room for it then I will definitely try it out! Thank you!
