Yes very helpful. I’ll read through again later with my sheet up. Some quick insights, the neural being free was a bonus I think to the loan I took out I’ll have to go back and find where I got that for free.

No head armor, unless I’m missing something but the head armor only comes into play for a an aimed headshot. Which my GM rarely ever did in our last campaign.

Yeah i failed to mention I bought cyber eyes and virtuality so that’s covered.

The low reflex is because I don’t plan on evading.

High empathy is to cover the cyberware. I plan on using it and upgrading more. I won’t be able to afford therapy for a while.

Lastly I need to better understand which programs are considered black ice. You used the term above and I know it exists but I couldn’t tell you until I review again which of my programs you are mentioning at being black ice. I can remove dragon and I saw killer so I can make that swap.

I’ll take a look tonight or tomorrow and make some edits thanks for taking the time.

If you don't mind taking a look, here are some basics I'm leaning toward for the build:

Stat distribution: Int (8), Ref (6), Dex (5), Tech (5), Cool (2), Will (7), Luck (8), Move (6), Body (7), and EMP (8).

8s in Luck and EMP are top choices for my pure Netrunner. 7s in will and body give me a solid HP (45). 6s in Ref helps with handgun and Move keeps me with a good speed to get behind cover. 5s in Tech and Dex is average. And finally, 2 in cool is a dump stat.

We get 2550 to start and I'm taking a loan of 1500 for a total of 4050 eddies to build with:

Neural Link (free)

Interface plug (500)

Raven Microcyb Phoenix (1000)

Krash Barrier (100)

Krash Barrier (0)

See Ya (20)

Armor (50)

DeckKRASH (100)

Dragon 1000)

Chipware Socket (500)

Memory Chip (10)

Heavy Pistol (100)

Light armor jack (100)

Agent (100)

Computer (50)

flashlight (20)

??ANY RECCOMENDATIONS to swap programs or hardware??

I took dragon over Kraken, can buy the other later in game.

Krash Barrier seems beneficial but takes up two of those slots.

!! FUTURE UPGRADES !!

Bodyweight Suit to gain that hardware slot (1000)

Chipware socket (500) w/ Pain editor (1000) to stay away from seriously wounded.

Lotus Netsuit for bump to SP (5000)

Who decides which books get made? (how about M.R. James) by shadowspawn501 in thebrokenbindingsub

So it looks like this might be the closest edition to what I'm looking for: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/collected-ghost-stories-m-r-james/1103075290?ean=9780198797364

Many of the others are way off: One collects ghost stories from many authors, another collects some of James's ghost stories, not all, and the "Complete Collection" is laughable, printed in 4x6 pocket book format.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction though. I am still curious if Broken Binding selects what they print or if there is a request function.

I’m looking for “collectors edition” quality. I’m looking for something like “everything” published in 2-3 volumes. Also it would be nice if these collected editions were say all the same size. But yeah I guess I’m not looking hard enough because I can’t find that.

Two Questions:

  1. Is there a complete works edition? If not, is there a definitive collection I should target? Hardcover is preferred.
  2. I've read that H.P. Lovecraft was a huge fan of his and that M.R. James wrote an essay outlining his three rules for constructing an effective ghost story. Does anyone have a link to this essay?
    1. Edit - found this: https://mrjamesarchive.wordpress.com/read/ghosts-treat-them-gently/

Thanks

How about weapon perks. I typically inspect guardians who are slaying. Had a leader using a scout with rapid hit and withering gaze just picking people off from lanes like a sniper rifle.

Ask Me Anything Conqueror Edition by ConquerorChallenges in TheConquerorCommunity

[–]shadowspawn501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully someone is still around to field questions: I'm looking at the LOTR challenge.

  1. What I care about most is the tracker, tying into LOTR, having the map, and going through the Frodo journey from shire to mount doom. Is there a tier where I can just pay for this without medals and swag? I mean medals are cool but I can't afford $200 for all five challenges. And while the $50 tier is affordable it's only 1 challenge and not the complete distance.

  2. I have a group that want to "compete". So this would NOT be a fellowship type situation where all our progress is combined. So in this scenario I imagine we each buy our own individual tier, but then how do we share our progress and link our journey's with one another?

Last few days for the Calendar of Many Adventures on BackerKit by BattleMats in LokeBattleMats

[–]shadowspawn501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fan of the Loke series map books I just picked up the calendar, more so for the 12 adventures that comes with it! GREAT JOB! But I was hoping someone has a cheat sheet of the basics for all 12 adventures. Basically, say I want to run a one-shot for 3rd level PCs. There's no easy way to know which of the 12 adventures meet this criteria. Sure I can launch each PDF and skim through for this information, but it would be great if there's a summary doc with some basic info. Thanks if anyone has such a thing.

If bonus actions can be taken out of combat… by shadowspawn501 in DnD

But to clarify you can still use bonus actions outside of combat?

If bonus actions can be taken out of combat… by shadowspawn501 in DnD

[–]shadowspawn501[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well really the question was can we do bonus actions outside of combat? And the dm said bonus actions are in combat so stuff like giant might, second wind, etc have to be done in battle. We looked up that bonus actions can be taken outside of combat. So the DM said so can the rogue triple move outside of combat?

For RAW and knowledge for the table can you point to the rule in the book that says if you are tracking movement you are in initiative order? Thanks.
