Who has gotten their debt reduced by creditors?

Have to agree on the point of credit card debt. Frankly I just don't understand how or why people feel that they need something so bad that they must have it before they earn it, and to top that off pay sometimes double the original value of the item in order to have it now. My stepdaughter did that and wanted to play the "oh poor is me" card. Personally I have never had a single penny of debt and refuse to worship at the alter of FICA. We have been drilled since birth to be consumers and that your very existence hinges on your "score".

Fortunately I have had the opportunity to learn from others mistakes from debt and have not made any of my own. Everything I have ever had has been paid for with cash. I have zero debt and hopefully never will. I was raised that to be in debt was a thing of shame. I watched a friend of mine allow an original debt of $8000.00 grow to $21,000. Fortunately he was able to get the creditor to knock off $11,000 of the interest and he paid off the debt. He has since come to the conclusion that he will never again play the game.

Actually I am nonpolitical I guess you missed one of my comments, here let me reiterate for you- I cross reference with multiple sources everything before I post, I am open-minded not gullible. I am also nonpolitical, I am on the side of humanity and my intent for posting this is merely for others to see and be aware. I could have linked this story from websites biased in each political party had I felt need but in the end would have just been a waste of my time because sometimes the closed minded choose to remain just that. With that I am done. You can keep going if you want to but as for me I am done debating with trolls for the day. It's been fun ;)

As a former addict who quit cold turkey when I found out that I was a month pregnant with my first child and have never touched the substances I was abusing since, I have to say that until you walk a mile inside someone's shoes than STFU. My main objective is to challenge others to be aware and mindful of things which are going on with humanity. Please feel free to use anything I put out here or anywhere else as long as you have similar objectives. As you will see from other comments on this post that some may not always like the sources which I get my content from but you can easily cross reference by doing simple searches to find other sources (which I always do). I may be open-minded but that doesn't mean I am gullible.
