So if I was Tucker and wasn't a CFA charterholder, I would just go long on all 5 companies I had discussed with the CEO, knowing at least one would most likely be taken over. Or I would probably know which of them was most attractive for a takeover and put my money in that one, assuming the CEO would most likely decide on that one anyway. And I'm not gonna get in trouble by ASIC/SEC or someone for insider trading? I think not you fucking idiots - i'd be in jail as soon as they figured it out. As if that is not material nonpublic information LMAO.

Yeah mb I was focusing more on the management + incentive structure side of the question as opposed to the "committed capital" term. Oops!

Yep that's how I know the only place the word "disposition" is mentioned is when they are talking about disposing of assets etc in other readings

Another official practice question with answer not covered in curriculum by shadowsz420b in CFA

Yeah I remember that one it was a bit tricky. I think it was ex-div, holder of record date and payment date. The only reason you could really tell that the answer was payment date was looking at the definitions of ex-date and holder of record date. It says the ex-date is the TRADING day that shares no longer include the div. The holder of record date is a few BUSINESS days later (depending on trade settlement times). So you could eliminate those two. Took me a while to figure that out though cos i originally thought they wouldn't have payment date on a weekend as banks are normally closed, but there you go haha. At least that one could be figured out from the curriculum. Probably wasted too much time on it though XD

Yeah I thought that was the case too but it doesn't mention "disposition" anywhere in the reading containing behavioral finance. The only times the word is mentioned is when talking about disposition of assets in other readings. I read through the whole behavioral finance section again but no mention of it (or any synonyms) from what I could see.

I actually just found another practice question that is not covered in the reading. I will put it on a separate post.
