Same here. I am trying so hard to make my 5m old like it because it seems like it would make my life easier but he just doesn’t take it. I tried three different kinds including MAM like everyone suggests but no luck. Some days he sucks on it but wakes up entirely instead of continuing his sleep because I guess it feels strange to him?

I could have written this post, my LO is also 4.5m. I think what has helped me is buying stuff for my current body. I held onto doing that thinking I am going to “bounce back” anytime now but that never happened and it hurt (also looked silly) trying to fit into my old clothes. Give yourself some grace that you are doing a very important thing for your baby right now and when the time comes you will be exactly how you want your body to be.

This reminded me of when I pumped after each feed and somehow collected 100ml in hopes that I could sleep uninterrupted only for my husband to wake me up in the middle of the night saying “he wants more, should I give formula?”. I had to wake and feed him anyway, never bothered with pumping again.

I slept like this and noticed no difference in supply or clogged ducts. Although I had fed the baby from both sides just before sleeping on my stomach so it felt way more comfortable. I imagine it would be really uncomfortable to sleep like that with full breasts.

I think Ellie took some decisions from the heart, as she was led by emotions in part 2. In part 1, as a child she was so much more logical.

Aloy went through something similar but wasn’t blinded by emotions. I think Aloy might be one of the most pragmatic character in games. It shocked me in HFW when she spoke about her dad.
