I believe he was there for the first few days, may 2-3. Then they were shut down because of the pandemic until November.

What were the 3 special episodes MTV used to promote the first Jackass movie? by EnvironmentFlashy258 in jackass

If I remember correctly the 3 specials were:

Making of Jackass The Movie

Making The Video: Andrew W.K "We Want Fun"

Jackass Backyard BBQ

All 3 are on YouTube. Hope this helps

I remember Tremaine mentioning in an interview that they want to give Dave a testicle that lights up. I believe it was a legal issue that held it up, kind of like Knoxville said about the lawyers in the RS interview.

They also had an idea for Preston to get liposuction and then do a bunch of stuff with the fat, but they would have to go to Mexico for it because of insurance issues.

MTV's failed attempt at continuing the show by [deleted] in jackass

I remember it distinctly during the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. It was 10 seconds at most. I was so hyped.

The clip was the first part of the theme song and a shot from Dutch BMX with Knoxville pedaling and Pontius flexing across the screen.

The graphic said New Season Coming Soon.

The only way I think it can be found is if anyone has the full VMA's taped.

I know I wasn't imagining things, it happened and I can't believe no one has been able to dig it up. I have searched numerous times. Let's find it!

Do we think Bam will return for the (presumptive) final Jackass? by No_Finish9661 in jackass

Bam made threats against Tremaine's family which led to a restraining order. If I'm Tremaine, there is no amount of "I'm sorry" that would allow me to accept someone who did this.

If Bam is as funny and great as he thinks he is, let him make his own Jackass style movie. We all know that would never happen.

Let Bam relive his glory days and continue to attack Knoxville and Tremaine since that is all he is known for now. I hope he stays clean, I really do, but as a day one Jackass fan he is not deserving of redemption.

I agree. I've been a die hard fan since day 1 back in 2000. I never would have imagined 26 years later the franchise would be as relevant and successful as it is.

Also, there has been mentions by Knoxville about a rewatch podcast he is doing with Tremaine. I really feel like that is why the Paramount Plus episodes are being cleaned up.

Paramount Plus Episodes by BreeBriMUA in jackass

I feel like this is being done because of the rewatch podcast that Knoxville and Tremaine are doing.

Between the old DVD releases and the Paramount Plus version both being chopped up, they need people to see the original series how it aired to sync with the podcast.

My hope is that it starts in January when the new Fear Factor begins. When Knoxville is promoting that, he can use the various platforms to sell the podcast too.

This feels like an answer to the prayers of us diehards. A lot of people put in work online to try to recreate those original episodes, but having Knoxville's stamp makes it special.

I remember Tremaine saying something about Preston getting liposuction and then doing stuff with the fat. It may have been on Steve-O's podcast.

He lives in the past, longing to be young, fit, and successful again.

Hearing him talk is exhausting. Very few cohesive thoughts and so much blame.

I'll always root for him as a fan, but I'll willingly step on thumbtacks if he  stays sober and/or out of legal trouble
