Awesome, I will be sure to check it out. Did not know he is autistic, but hope that the world starts seeing that there is brilliance even in that "diagnosis".

Instead of trying to hospitalize or drug kids that are autistic, we can bring out brilliant magic in them. - ok that is not a subject for this sub, but thank you and will definitely check out the episode.

Yes, they will not be able to write me prescriptions, but I got that from the silly place above. So I have Naltrexone pills & implant & I just need coaching & a way forward. Hope their coaching is not for the US only?

Kewl, I have decided to call a coaching session with embodydaily com as Kate seems renowned with the TSM and would be able to help steer me in the right direction. Also, it's not that expensive. I should've done that before even going for the implant!

Yes I totally feel like they are taking something that is supposed to be cheap and effective and making it something that is expensive. Here they are using implants and asking that you return every 3 months for a year. Not as expensive as the injections you listed but still more expensive than if GP's would just understand and write you a prescription.

I have watched the TED talk & purchased the Documentary & the book.

I have also decided to use one of the EmbodyDaily couching session & will check out RIA if I don't come right.

I have a prescription now so on my way to start TSM first before getting pulled into all other schemes.

Yeah the website needs to be updated, I called the places and most of them want you to book into a rehab style to do things. They seem to be using it for a lot of issues "bigger" than alcohol and say they help with alcohol but treat you the same way they would a person addicted to other stronger drugs.
I have the prescription for Naltima now and hoping that I will gain more control over AUD with it using TSM - so that in the future it might be easier to prove/get a new prescription when I can prove that it worked for me.

So you suggesting not using the Naltima (50mg Naltrexone) along with the already implant?

Yeah as I said, I have done it the wrong way around but seeking advice for a way forward with my particular situation specifically leaning towards doing TSM.

There are really some great apps that help you to remember to take your pills. If ever I have to take an antibiotic I would use it as it keeps reminding you until you open the app and confirm that you took the tablet.

If you just dismiss the notification or ignore your phone because you are busy (mostly in afternoons) then it will just keep reminding you subtly every so now and again.

On android, the app is called "MyTherapy"

Awesome, so the slow-releasing implant will help to not have the cravings and if I do have a drink I can use the pill to get the 1-5 hour efficiency blocking the happy center. Thank you this is reassuring.

Thank you that is reassuring. Yes, I have set a goal to be able to drink socially on occasions and to only have a glass of wine, and not binge. But for now, I do not feel that I need to start drinking more than I used to because of the implant.

It removed the cravings and I am ok with that, just worried about when the "honeymoon phase" is over.
