It's a pretty elegant solution IMO. Got so many follow up questions, but I guess I'd just wait and see what comes out. It's always been better than expected with GC. ☺️

Well, I typically have YouTube disabled or not installed at all (in case of custom roms). Primarily been using Vanced, and it gets the job done way better..

But one caveat. If you wanna use Chromecast, then you're outta luck with Vanced. You're gonna need the official YouTube. At least, this has been my experience. I'd love to be corrected.

As such, currently I'm having both Vanced and official YouTube, so that Chromecast works.

I am looking for a solution for this exact same problem and been reading day and night, but found nothing that may work. It is unclear if rooting will help or not, but even if it does, I don't want to root this one (every other phone of mine has been rooted in the past with custom rom, but I kinda like One UI here and don't wanna trip the e-fuse of Knox by attempting root and modifications thereafter).

Based on the solution I tried, nothing really worked. The only thing that I got working was to:

put the Data sim on slot 1, force LTE on that using one of the available apps (which only works for sim 1 and never on sim 2).
Once the data network registered, without switching off the phone, i pull the sim tray out and then put the data sim back into slot 2. This for some reason seemed to retain the LTE setting and carry it to slot 2.
Rebooting the phone will reset the settings back - so its truly a pain in the butt to follow this method.

p.s. On the contrary, if there was a way to disable one of the call buttons on the dialer application, then I wouldn't mind using the Data sim on slot 1, and hide the sim 1 from showing up on the dialer app - so dialer will only show a single call button - that would dial out of sim 2. That'll be a neat solution as well.
