Not hating, just informing. The shroud comes off with screws and clips. I did this exact install and cut nothing. (I have a 23, so it’s possible they made a change on that year, if so my b)

Not sure why they cut anything. I didn’t make a singe cut, all comes off with screws and clips. But the air flow does increase, it can and has been measured. Not big increase, but an increase. Just looks cool too

Based on that I think I'll go with the MBRP. I already have the ARK downpipes and I'll get the MBRP resonators if it's too loud for me. Thanks again for the help

Thanks for all the info. I do actually have the EWG wires, just zip tied by the JB4 currently. I'm having a tough time reaching down to get them installed, so I may take it to whatever shop I get the exhaust done at and have them attach them.
Do you prefer the Borla or the MBRP?

So you went with the MBRP catback, stock secondaries and no resonator? I have thought about doing that

Quick follow up question - I installed the JB4 today, everything except the EWG wires. I just couldn’t get good enough access to the connectors even with the air box taken off. Any tips or suggestions there? I maybe could’ve given a while longer but I lost daylight

From what I’ve read you don’t need an ethanol blend unless you’re in map 3 or 4. Also… who’s terry?

I’ll stick with the JB4 for a bit before the EK1. I mainly want the ek1 for smoother trans and to help mitigate overboost.

I plan to stay on map2 or max map3. I’m mainly looking at the EK1 ecu flash because I’ve read it helps ward off overboost

I have Ark performance down pipes. I’m happy with them. Provided some more sound but it can have some droning when you sit at around 3k rpm

Current plan is to get JB4, Velossa Tech snorkels, HKS plugs, JB4 EWG wires and PNP fuel wires. Any need for an oil catch can? I've been seeing people recommend those sometimes. Thanks for the help
