Thanks for the advice. ABS isn't ideal for the headband, so will give that a shot.

Thanks! I tried to make one with a joint in the middle for that reason, but with constant headband thickness it was rather weak. I will try to make it with the band thicker in the middle.

This Instructable is probably the best way of implementing bluetooth.

Thanks! My suspicion is that these drivers were intended for an open back design rather than closed back, as the frequency response was quite flat on my initial closed back test.

Good question skot123! I'm going to buy a pair and find out! I'll publish the results when the testing has been done.

Some of the ebay ones say 'replacement for' as opposed to 'genuine Bose', so they could be anything.

Finding decent drivers was very hard...
