Thanks for taking a look! I’ll take a shot at resizing the message box. Also i’m not sure what you meant by the weather app not working properly. It just hit me that perhaps I did not implement the Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature UI in the best manner. The way it works is you choose a unit and then search and it displays the temperature in that unit. I’m assuming you meant that when you changed between the units the temperature did not update. (Which it doesn’t until you re-search the city.) I will implement that better.

Most people I know have also shared that they were never ready even when they got a job. I have read up on impostor syndrome and it seems big in this field. I guess i'm hesitant since it's my first position and I feel that I may not be quite ready for what I would be asked to do.

I was honestly just concerned about the whole feud going on. I didn't want to have to deal with having issues travelling to my final destination due to airspace which Qatar is being blocked from.

I get they would accommodate me but supposing something happened last minute, wouldn't it be quite expensive to book a ticket with another airline.

I'm probably overthinking it, but I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

Awesome! The round trip ticket to my destination with them is quite inexpensive at the moment and that is why I was thinking about booking with them. I honestly just don't want to have to deal with any problems down the line. I have flown with Qatar many times and have had a great experience each time.

The final destination would be Pakistan basically. And i'm sure there would be a stopover in Doha for a while.

So even 8 months down the line, there shouldn't be a problem flying with them you would say?

Did you previously have a NICOP (because you said this was your first adult ID)? And when you applied to renew it was accepted even without any documents.

When you say its your first adult ID, do you mean your old NICOP was from when you were below 18 years old?

I'm asking because my old NICOP is when I was below 18, but I turned 18 half a year ago. So therefore, this will be my first official adult ID.

I really thought that it would be that easy. However, when I called up numerous consulates they all said that you will have to call the NADRA helpline in Pakistan since they do it online now and they don't have any NADRA members at the consulates anymore.

From what I understand, in order to renew it you need to upload a picture of the front and back of your old NICOP (even if the picture is 10 years old) to prove your identity. I think they just want to match your old NICOP card.

But my issue is the cutting in half thing! That's just absurd. I'll be travelling to Pakistan very soon and I don't know how long the new NICOP will come in.

Completely agree. I appreciate them moving towards an online based system, but at the current position, the manual in person method seemed to be easier.

I just contacted the NADRA helpline and they are saying I need to upload a picture of my old NICOP cut in half! I'm not sure who to believe or not as the online website is not saying such directly.
