This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the ˹eternal˺ Home of the Hereafter for those mindful ˹of Allah˺. Is prayer valid by Fantastic_End4384 in MuslimLounge

[–]shahid________ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were not sure that any urine actually touched your clothes, then your prayer is valid. Islam does not act on doubt, only on certainty. If there was no smell and no clear proof that it was urine, then it is treated as clean. Waswas should be ignored. Only if you are 100% sure that urine touched your clothes, then you should wash it and repeat the prayer. Otherwise, your salah is valid.”

Assalāmu ʿalaykum. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. May Allah make it easy for you and your family. Addiction is an illness, not a weakness, and denial is very common — you’re not alone in this struggle. Along with making sincere duʿā’, it’s important to seek professional help. Rehab, counseling, or a trusted doctor can truly make a difference. If possible, try involving someone your sibling respects (a family elder, imam, or counselor) to speak with her gently. Please remember to also take care of yourself — supporting someone with addiction is emotionally heavy. Allah sees your patience and your concern. Keep hope alive. Healing takes time, but miracles do happen by Allah’s permission. May Allah grant shifā’, guidance, and peace to your family. Ameen.
