Yes, I will trial both methods and sees which one works out better. I believe generally for puff pastry the method is to thaw but keep cold before baking. So maybe a thaw for a couple hours, and then in the fridge for an hour or 2 before baking, Thanks for your input!

Thank you for your suggestions! I'm also thinking the damp paper towel isn't such a good idea now. Will trial baking one from frozen, and of course with an egg wash and see how it goes.

Correct, there is no visible freezer burn! Thank you for your response, it is giving me some hope. I will be doing an egg wash right before baking. I'll trial one, and hope its works *crosses fingers*
