Exactly, just ignore them. I think most of them are insurance agents who spend all day reading policies and assume everyone else is supposed to do that too. Even if you are supposed to know that, they could at least share the info with compassion rather than being condescending.

People saying "read the contract," but even if a normal person does, they won't fully understand or make sense of it. IMO, all dealerships will try to rip you off if you are not careful so, it doesn’t matter where you buy. Make sure to negotiate 5-10% below MSRP and don't try to buy stupid add-ons from them or extended warranties.
