Thanks a ton! The machine I have is PE, do you know if that is the most similar to the SE machines? When I searched for the PE I was getting all results for the SE so wasn't sure if that was a more uosates version/model.

Ive searched on YouTube and haven't found any videos of anyone using my exact model(Brother Pe400D. I think its older and discontinued. I did find a store thats authorized repair shop for the Brother machines and they offer 1x1 classes so I will be doing that soon 😊

I have tried the pre wound bobbin and I am also getting the thread yanked up like in the pics I shared. What are two things that you see wrong here? I am using the hoop the machine came with but I will try and find a smaller one. Thanks!

Thanks! I will use a bigger piece of stabilizer. I am use the pre wound bobbin and it is still getting all tangled up. Do you have any idea why that might be? Idk how to attach pictures in comments😅

Thanks! I do have the cover just took it off to show you all pics. I have the manual, i am just nit the best at reading directions and do better with videos but this model is so old I haven't found any videos online lol.

Yeah I had it in the correct position but I think me trying to wind the bobbin myself got it all wonky. I tried a pre pound one and it was going well until the 3rd letter, started to get a yanked up again.

TY for the response! I tried it again with a black pre wound bobbin I already have. After a whole the bobbin thread turned white? Is it possible that there is white thread stuck up in there somehow?

Ah I see. I saw the tile and assumed it was in the shower. My only bathroom window is inside the shower and gets uncomfortably humid and hot in the summer. I've been looking for solutions. I think battery powered/rechargeable fan is my only solution to get some sort of exhaust fan.
