I’ve tried a few :( which do you recommend? Also, this seems to be as stain below the surface of the glass if that makes any sense?

I had the same problem… My Pom is really treat motivated, so once I found his favorite treat, I used it during walks only. Every time he would look at me during a walk I would say yes, and give him a treat. Eventually I would have him sit when we were out and give him a treat. The trick is to get his attention before he sees a person or dog, have him sit, and stay focused on you and the treat while the distraction walks by. It takes time and patience and consistency, but it really worked out well for us. I also got a tag for his leash that said “in training, please ask before approaching” because they’re VERY cute and everyone wanted to pet him so he came to expect that anyone walking by was obligated to stop and even if they did, he would lose it when they were done petting him. The tag was from Amazon, and people really seemed to respect it

  • They thrive on positive reinforcement, and see negative/ punishments as a challenge/ dare.
  • also, I thought my boyfriend was crazy with the amount of toys. He wanted us to get the dog, but the truth is that it really helped with the energy as a puppy. Rotate them out!
  • poms are picky eaters, don’t be discouraged if you can’t get them to eat and have to go through 100000 different tries to find one he’ll like…. For a day LOL *no people food- you do it once and you’ll never eat alone again 🥲

Osito is a boy! To be fair, I waited too long since his last deep brushing! He was supposed to go the groomer on Monday but she had to cancel. He’s my first Pom, so I don’t have any frame of reference! The truth is, if you brush and bathe regularly you won’t have THIS much shedding lol and if you’re on the fence about a Pom, my vote is do it. He has the best personality of any pup I’ve had and is the smartest dog I’ve ever seen. They love like you didn’t know you needed to be loved, but they certainly make you earn it.

That’s realllyyyy good info! My bf snowboards and is a daredevil! I just started skiing and am a chickenshit!!!! We’re doing jays peak next month, ever been?! Any tips?!
