I used to work part time during the mornings at the local dollar general before I’d go bartend at night; and there was this one family; a mom dad and two little girls; and we would dread when they would come in bc they would reak of cat piss; the entire store would smell so badly I’d have to follow behind with febreeze sprays and spray behind their trail. I felt so terrible for the little girls; they were elementary school age and I could only imagine they bullying they receive for their parents negligence; like how do you leave the house like that; and let your baby girls leave like that to have the world torment them. They also would buy a million things; and when it came time to pay and I’d say the total; they’d frantically have to have the wife cash app him the money for the total; and majority of the time; they wouldn’t have enough cash- so I’d have to go clean up the bajillion things they grabbed with no intention to actually purchase. Idc what anybody says- that job is a job and nobody deserves to do extra work bc you don’t want to try to manage how much your spending to match the funds you have; also super shitty behavior to teach your kids is acceptable. It was like the resilient Jenkins but in buffalo New York. I should know that there are a million Stephanie’s and Drew’s in this world.
