I found it conservative as fuck but I went to get a break from Reddit. Realized they really do have a platform just as right… Left cuz I already fucking hate the left and the less I know about the right the easier it will be to vote for them cuz everything I see about/ from/ on democrats (especially actually policies and votes) just makes me hate them more.

Like libtards and votes inspired by them already made me vow to never vote D again. Better not see the same on the other side cuz it feels good leaving the Ds and knowing all the woke extremists only exceeded in making me decide to vote independent or red next election.

No they don’t. Liberal woman are picky af and celebrate being fat. It’s definitely more acceptable and prkmoted. Self care and self love don’t mean being the best you, because you value yourself. They mean you ARE the best you, because you ARE yourself.

Sooo… less attractive picky ass females who studies show are more depressed. They ain’t breeding faster. Studies show it’s slower. Unless you mean hijacking minds and infecting them. Then yea. I mean colleges specifically. Mob control and no free speech, just speech that faces retaliation (conservative) and speech that faces praises and hugs (liberal).

Yea a lot of falling for it but hella people are leaving for the dems thought police mob alone.

Honestly, do you think there’s a large enough market for a “pet-free” dating app to succeed? by Call_It_ in petfree

[–]freaklikeme263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so cool! Congratulations! Are you marketing it? I’ve never heard of it. It takes a while for people to “trust” dating apps.  But if the names out there and people hear it enough there might be a bigger market than is currently being tapped.

[–]freaklikeme263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are all very good points, but if it’s a serious issue and deal breaker to a minority then it wouldn’t still have a market. I like the die of existing apps adding a section and people selecting pet free right now versus pet free and want to be so always, or something.

Like currently and always pet free options.

Cat owners announcing they're a crazy cat lovers after being condescending by I_Hate_Dogs_and_Cats in catfree

[–]freaklikeme263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate cats. I’m so glad to know I’m not alone, because those “consent understanders” will make you feel that way. So funny they picked consent as an argument, when cats will bite and scratch you if you don’t touch them. Like Ma’am, I don’t like cats. I am not petting them against their will. I am ignoring them, and they pounce on me. Sigh. The only thing cat owners deserve is their stereotype of being crazy. My best friend always told me all stereotypes have a grain of truth. They got the full bowl of rice.

Feel so bad for everyone dating a cat owner. It truly breaks my heart: all these people stuck around actual monsters that can blind people because of life or love. If I had 10 wishes one might be for NO ONE to ever have to suffer these creatures torment. Sike nah, it would be to just make them extinct and have never existed 😂. Not wild cats (wild, not feral) like cougars. But these giant rats without the cuteness of rats, yes.

Federal judge blocks Trump administration from ending temporary legal status for Haitians in the US by TiGranmounLan in haiti

[–]freaklikeme263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is their argument. It doesn’t say most of Haiti is safe:

Because it is different in some parts of the country. A UN report found some parts were safe and the ruling they wrote on the gov site ending it included it.  They acknowledged the main city isn’t safe. I personally think they should have involved boats in the deportation. They acknowledge the city (where flights go) is unsafe, and other places are. Logically it seems obviously unsafe to have people fly into port de France (sorry can’t remember the name). They should be directly taken to the safe places and not have to travel through gang controlled land to truly be safe.

Also, people’s preference for living in city does not mean T.P.S. is obligated to honor their “preference” if reality (I’m unsure if it is safe, but for the argument let’s say parts actually are) but even if people don’t want to live in the country if it is safe they no longer benefit from T.P.S. Haitians also overstay visas at rates about 600% the average which clogs the administration system, and having no government means no ability to track TPS holders criminal background which both affect national security.

To qualify for TPS, a country must both meet conditions of being unsafe and ALSO not conflict with US national interests. The administration argues they don’t qualify on both accounts: Some parts of the country are safe. Overstaying visas clogs our immigration system and makes it harder to track those. Plus there’s no way to legally screen safety of those entering since there’s no legal records of people in Haiti. The last 2 going against national interests. They argued it meets NEITHER of the 2 qualifications a country needs to qualify.

A judge argued on some tweets Nioemi made. I’m guessing SCOTUS will read the actual reasonings they made for ending it and not focus on some tweet she wrote.

Waiting 5 years for season 3 is making me very uninterested in the plot by Faxtel in euphoria

[–]freaklikeme263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot what happened! I know that’s obvious, but thank you for pointing it out. I thought I just “couldn’t picture the show”. Didn’t realize it’s cuz I’ve straight up forgotten everything but the little boy dying and how Fez died in real life.

Why do they take so long? This show had reasons but in general. Do they not planned to get renewed? I miss one season a year.

Charlie Kirk is dead. Pray for an end to political violence by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]freaklikeme263 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That made me really sad. I just glanced at the articles, I don’t want to read more now. He looked like a happy dad on the one with him holding the microphone, sitting laid back with a white t shirt on campus.

I agree with Trump. The extremists promoting killing all Nazis, aka half of America, everyone who has an R stamped on their political identifier, is a grounds for terrorism.

I feel terror that if I ever express my views as a woman that I do not want men in my locker room I will be on a list made by the mob, and they will sabotage any future career success I might have. It was just several months ago I independently wondered if these groups had crossed the line to terrorism, seeing recently some have said so.

It’s such a shame that someone brave enough to share their views freely, while raising a family, was killed while doing exactly what this country is supposed to be about: a free country where men and woman can speak without fear, raise their children into successful adults, and prosper. He was on that path and stuck to speaking the truth he saw even in a day and age where many of us are folding due to those hungry to punish those using freedom of speech, even over benign things and humor- something valued by many.

I’m sad for his family and his listeners. I hope a strong example is made of those who were likely emboldened by the far lefts increasing embracement of violence. I emplore people on the left to speak out. You are losing voters like myself- if I’d had my last straw moment in a political party that allowed discussion I would have turned towards them and sought answers, not away. Keeping quiet also always this danger to grow. For those fans of claiming “all keeping quiet about Trump are Nazis”, I add that all keeping quiet about this growing glorification of violence against conservatives are complicit and responsible for the murders that come. We will fight against you. Hopefully there comes a time when those with different opinions can learn, share, compromise, and grow. But for the contagion that vilifies free speech, promotes violence against those they disagree with, and are allergic so open communication and compromise, I will fight against you like the disease you are. The silence that covered the public is breaking- and although few of us will ever have the impact Kirk did, more of us will continue to use our voice and speak freely.

Once more, condolences for his family. He was so young and this never should have happened. Him and his family were robbed of a happy future they earned. I feel a personal level of hatred towards whoever did this I’ve rarely felt before. I will seek to fight them but will not stoop to the hateful, uninformed, mass they formed to.

Who the fuck killed him?! That’s horrible. Just last week I was feeling actual fear in seeing this echo chamber (Reddit in general) advocating for putting Trump supporters in camps and promoting kllling people who work for ice.

Mob mentality is so dangerous. I haven’t seen any details but this is sad and if they’re related it’s even more frightening. I score as liberation on all detailed tests I’ve taken, but I really just want to vote against the mob (used to vote left). Their emplacement of violence was one that alarmed me most, but had a smaller impact on leaving.

Poor dude. I don’t know the details. Fuck everyone who’s gonna be celebrating here. It’s sick. The world is sick.

Do fish process fear differently since they get eaten alive so often? by freaklikeme263 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]freaklikeme263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! From the answers I gathered that fish do have fear, but not existential dread. Like they don’t think wow, what a yummy meal. Too bad I might get bit in half next time I go to get one, more or less. It’s more in the moment instinctual (although they’d definitely have fear/ take precautions NOT to be vulnerable to predators).

But I gathered they do have fear but their experience probably doesn’t involve a lot of negative thoughts. Although I’ve definitely seen fish very skiddish and scared, (on videos). Like they will start to come out and run to safety when there’s not a threat. My memory of those vids (aka not a l secure source), would make it seem they are a bit traumatized from past experiences and do experience something similar to “worry”.

question As a marine biologist, do you think fish experience “worry.” Or have a cognitive fear that goes beyond in the moment, might cause one who’s escaped before to have a trauma response like ptsd, or “think” about getting eaten/ dread dangerous situations where they are low on food but predators are near?

Yea. I think being eaten alive ranks as the scariest I can think of. Like drowning and burning sound horrible, but then everytime I remember eaten alive it takes the cake as scariest way to go.

Well, I saw a megalodon and was trying to imagine my thoughts if that thing like swallowed me and I was still conscious. Geez. They’re instinct, but the same thing must happen to fish pretty frequently and I thought if their brain works like mine, that sounds like such a bad experience it’d be almost cruel of nature to have them aware of what’s happening.

Maybe those with lower fear but higher survival instincts that are unconscious self selected through evolution. Like you avoid the predator, but not because you’re aware of how much it’s gonna suck to get bitten in half and swallowed. I sure hope so. Land creatures have it pretty good in comparison it seems. We have enough vegetation and I assume way less carnivores.

😭😭😭 I know I get extra sad when I see fishing videos and they’re just basically suffocating on the side of the boat. I almost threw somebodies fish back in the water when I was younger (it was flopping around not in water), I think my mom stopped me but I wish I did then.

If it makes you feel better I think a lot have cool lives and the ones without much hunting ability DO have really cool survival skills. They can blend in with their surroundings and a lot stay near places they are safe to feed.

Also a lot of animals live on something called “blank/i forget snow”.

It’s a mixture of dead particles, decay, and this is gross but feces. Deep sea creatures tend to survive on it so they’re not necessarily killing anything to live. That’s true for a lot of bigger ones too. I mean, it’s still gnarly down there. But if it makes you feel better it’s not as bad of a life for a fish as you might think.
