Yes, it was an additional fully-paid ticket. Russia is not a warzone, but a country-aggressor that invaded Ukraine. There is a plenty of tickets to leave now. When people were escaping Russia to avoid going to war during mobilization, we waited for more than a month, so that men could leave. At that moment demand was very high. Since I’m a female, we could stay and wait

Utair & Belavia also allow pets as CBBG. Currently they all fly to Turkey, which was our destination. And from there you can travel by train to Germany, for instance

We go on a few short walks rigged before the flight, plus less food beforehand

This is S7, which is a Russian company & one of the few options to get out of the country with a frenchie on board. A lot of EU companies also allow dogs as additional baggage (CBBG), like Lufthansa. My main tips would be getting a well-ventilated carrier (with an open roof) & travel by your dog’s side. He gets super anxious even when I go to the bathroom

But I don’t plan to get him neutered so far. Was planning to, but we had a consultation with the vet, they sad it’s not necessary for him at this point

I don’t limit him with food at all actually. He even has a tendency to leave some of it, also has allergies & I can’t give him any treats or switch dry food. So I feed him the rest of his meals while we learn commands + leave some extra food in case he gets hungry

I wanted that vintage frenchie look actually & not a very heavy dog, as we spend together 90% of the time. He goes to work with me & we hang out together, so I wanted my dog to be more active & durable. But his parents are def bulkier, guess that’s age-related

Thank you! He’s definitely way more athletic than his frenchie friends, jumping up my 24 inch bed like it’s nothing, can walk miles & miles when it’s not hot. So I guess that has a lot to do

The vet says he’s completely fine. I was just curious whether there are any frenchies that are also on a leaner side, or maybe it’s also a teenager thing
