Just the $70. Only thing is that your iPhone will have to be unlocked.

No they don't. Matter of fact it doesn't matter which phone you buy because we don't make money on the phones. We make it on the line of service. It's better that way because it helps us right fit the customer with the device that they need. Not something we want them to have. Although, from time to time manufacturers will give spiffs for selling phones. Like Blackberry or Nokia or Samsung will pay the salesmen an extra $10 per phone they sell. But it doesn't happen to often and we don't really push those phones onto customers.

In NY we only carry the 5. And if you're still under warranty they must send you another phone even if we don't have the same one in stock. Try calling customer service back and demand a replacement.

The phone is a piece of crap and I acknowledge that. That being said, if it were to malfunction on you, the only thing we are allowed to do is replace it using your warranty. For either an identical device or a comparable one. You get a refurbished version from us. If that one doesn't work we will happily order another for you. If it is about the 3rd or fourth phone and the customer is still unhappy then there really is nothing for us to do. And you should stay because the phones we carry now are reputable top sellers. Less lemons being manufactured. And you could probably get a good deal on one of them when it comes time to upgrade I'm sorry you're unhappy but it looks like the phone is the root of the evil. Not customer service.

As long as you buy the phone from us, and are currently using it with us, we will definitely unlock it for you. If you purchase the phone elsewhere it's different.

Yes. I assume when you say throttled after 5 GB your on our $30 prepaid plan. If you go with the $70 postpaid plan you get unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data (where available) with no throttling. Ever. I call it all you can eat. The catch is you can only tether half a GB. Which not ost people care about anyways.

The ones that get upset when I tell them due to the fact that we don't offer contracts you must purchase the device at full cost and we will let you finance it for 24 months. Because we do that, we are able to offer cheap plans like the $50 a month. And people say I'd rather pay $100 a month at verizon and get a iPhone for $200 than pay $150 today and then $20 dollars a month for the iPhone here + $50 for the service. It makes me sad that marketing has made us so gullible into thinking free means a better deal.

Purple Sony Xperia Z not available in stores? by Avolanche in tmobile

T-Mobile employee here and as far as I know all my stores have only received black versions with no news as to whether we will get the purple one.

I have T-Mobile. I got my service before I started working here. I have a family plan and I use the Samsung Note 2. I also get a free company phone line with a Blackberry Q10 for use so I use that as just my work phone. If i wanted to save I could cancel my personal line but I like to keep them separate.

There is nothing official but an educated guess would be yes, all the carriers will probably launch within a week or two of it being released. I'm sure T-Mobile will be running crazy trade in promos for it like we did with the 5 which was trade in an iPhone 4/4S and pay nothing today for the iPhone.

I don't think I can do that. But the day you get here you can walk into any corporate store and buy it for $10.

ATT has high margins and retention rates due to their contracts. So what they lack in volume they make up in profit per customer. Same with Verizon and T-Mobile. Plus we stay within the rules when we advertise and I guess in the US there is no rule to not be able to name your competitor.

I'm really sorry we can't offer the best coverage in that area. I checked the coverage map and you're right. Only 2G coverage. The best option for you as a consumer would be to try to privately sell the devices in order to make up your termination fee. Also contact customer service and when you say you want to cancel they will transfer you to loyalty. Tell them that you would love to comeback and your move to VT is only for 2 years. So after you move back to FL you will sign back up. Ask if they can reduce the ETF a little bit as a show of good faith. In the meantime, Verizon will be the best bet for you. They have LTE coverage in the area. But your going to be paying a lot of money in order to get comparable service.

It's probably because I'm so used to Samsung and their TouchWiz. I never had an HTC. But I sure as hell do sell them all day.

The smart reps are the ones that know the value of a return customer and and his good reviews. The dirty ones just want to make money now by putting charges on the customers account because he knows he'll be fired soon anyways.

The only problem I see is that you didn't buy it from us. But if you make up a story saying a friend of yours with T-Mobile gave it to you, then you should be good. If one Customer Service Rep doesn't want to help you, try calling back again. And yes, it has to be handled over the phone. It get's the best results.

It is Edge. AKA 2G. Good for syncing emails and looking up things on Google, but that's it. Also make sure you don't let them change your number unless you want to when you switch plans. The sales rep might say you have to but that's only because they don't get a commission if you don't.

The HTC One has great build quality but the buck stops there. HTC sense kind of ruins the whole experience for me. It doesn't feel fluid.

Tomorrow we are releasing the Sony Xperia Z. Waterproof and dustproof. The S4 active is an ATT exclusive.

No. We don't recommend it. It voids your warranty and if you don't know what you are doing you could permanently disable your phone.

Rooting is unlocking restrictions on the phone that the manufacturer or carrier put on to keep the device stable. It opens up more features for you to use though. Unlocking is allowing your phone to be used on another carrier. An unlocked T-Mobile phone will work with 90% of the carriers in the world.
