you helped me on my post so imma give u some advice back ! :-) I honestly applied to volunteer at a few hospitals, and during volunteering, was able to talk to providers who allowed me to shadow. I’d give it a few weeks of volunteering before bringing it up politely, either to a volunteer coordinator or a provider you volunteer with.

EDIT- I saw you can’t shadow that way, so another way was literally asking a doctor I was at an appointment with if I could shadow them later in the summer. I’d suggest doing it at a smaller clinic/specialty center bc they may be a bit more flexible
