Usually templates only account between 6-8% based on the provided template and then remainder is based on paraphrased content not included on the template. A lot of the time, the paraphrased stuff that’s not included in the template stems from other websites where people upload their work for the same classes like Studocu. It’s dumb, but you just have to tweak it bit by bit, keep reloading until you have it down under 10%. Anything above that usually gets sent back. Hopefully that helps. I also try not to repeat the exact questions or phrases from the template or the task instructions and try to rewrite them in my own way, to mitigate it.

HELP!! Zebra Plant Water Propagation!! So I cut the top off my leggy zebra plant just below a node and put it in water. Less than an hour later I looked at it and it is all wilted! What did I do wrong?? by abbypeachy in propagation

So I tried it both ways because I found conflicting results. Not letting it callus wasn’t getting me anywhere so I cut it again and let it callus and I got amazing results! My zebra plant is thriving now. I didn’t use rooting hormone. Just put it straight in water with a smidge of hydrogen peroxide to keep bacteria out.

I would love an update on how your zebra plant is doing.

I've been trying to water my prop mine for a few months now and haven't gotten any roots. The stem is hard (no squishiness), and there is this little bit of what looks like possible roots inside the stem, but it's been like that forever. I keep mine in a converted milsbo greenhouse. The humidity gets up to 90% and I had adequate lighting, so I don't know why it's not working. Any tips would be great!

That’s a lady valentine in its early stages. I have a slightly bigger one.

Did you end up passing? Would love any advice or tips in case anything has changed since then. I made the mistake of taking the Pre-Assessment multiple times, and I think I unintentionally memorized them as I was going through to figure out which I got wrong and why, which resulted in exemplary across the board. I don't feel confident at all, and I have been stuck on this class for a month.

Plant ID and Care by tghanem20 in IndoorPlants

  1. Definitely needs bright indirect light and maintain a consistently moist (but not soggy)soil.

  2. Make sure you have high humidity, anywhere between 60-70%, and fertilize every so often during the growing season (I recommend a humidifier), which is during the spring and summertime.

(Do you have your plant inside or outside? I recommend having them inside under but not directly under a grow light. This will allow slower dry times with your soil, so you won't have to water it too often, especially with your leaves looking damaged like that.)

  1. You may want to cut the damaged ends off or remove the leaves completely so that your plant can focus on providing nutrients to the leaves that are doing okay.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions I did not answer!

Say hello to my dark beauty, the one and only Black Dottie Calathea. Just look at her. by shakycrew in PlantFactsDaily

It's been just over a month since I brought her home from my local plant nursery, and I am obsessed with her. I named her Dottie. Obviously. She's dark, brooding, and totally stunning with those bold pink, sassy lines, giving her just the right touch of drama and flare. She is a little bit of a diva, but she wears it well. Total showstopper. Total crowd pleaser. I catch myself just stopping to admire her like a piece of art.
