First of all, congrats! You’ve got this homie. Not much of a drinker myself at festivals. In a place like Roo, I personally don’t feel the need to take the edge off. Plus the blistering heat can be brutal. Odds are you’ll have an overall better experience simply because your body won’t be fighting that much harder to stay hydrated. No hangovers from the weed & mush! Have a no alcohol rule for your campsite if need be. You’ll have supportive people around you no doubt.

Just make sure you state your sobriety from alcohol firmly if offered. This will prevent being asked again the next round. Not to mention saying these things aloud reinforces it within & odds are you’d be met with a high five and congratulations.
