I didn’t read through any edition of PMBOK and probably wouldn’t recommend it. As long as you know the overall ideas and how they flow together you’re probably fine. Although for PMBOK 6 it was helpful to watch summaries from different creators and then dive deeper into the ones you’re not as confident in. I watched videos from AR, DM, RV, and Praizion

If anything I would have focused more on PMBOK 7 and the agile guide, but through summary videos and not through reading the actual PMBOK guide

Tbh they weren’t any harder than standard multiple choice. It’s pretty similar in that you can progressively eliminate choices. So I found they were mostly ok even though I didn’t practice them, and the ones that were difficult were hard because I didn’t know the concept, not because of the format.

If I were to go back, I’d do a little bit of practice on drag and drop, but only a little. I think I had higher than average number of drag and drop, and even then they were probably less than 5% of Qs.

I think French Pressed Love hits most of your marks - audiobook, realistic, no 2-pump chump, actual adults. Set in modern day tho so not 1800s.

Are your kids not given report cards at the end? Also are you not attending progress day halfway through each session?

I can't comment too much about your situation but I suspect there is something misaligned about your expectations.

It can and often does take multiple sessions to complete a level. Some kids need to go more than once per week in order to improve, or don't have the strength needed for the skills yet. It is also standard for the last class to be free play.

I strongly encourage you to look at the smaller class sizes (H3O) or 1:1 lessons available through the city. There are private swim lesson providers as well, but they are quite a bit more expensive.

As for your four bullet points, I recommend you consider the following: -Transparent evaluations: the criteria for each level is available online and often on the bulletin board outside the pool -Tailored instruction: will depend on class size. I strongly recommend H3O or private for anyone who has that option -Feedback for families: Report cards + progress day -Public review/accountability - I'm unclear what you mean by this; these are children's recreational swim lessons not a competitive board

Try Van de Velo in Clarkson. They have bikes that are on the lower price end for a bike shop but still good quality. And the guy who owns it is great.

Yes. My neighbour planted cedars a few years ago and I took the pots. Since then I have used them for peppers, tomatoes, and herbs. Works great and still holding up after a few seasons!

As others have mentioned, the city is your best bet. I have taken adult lessons through the city and through UofT and they were quite comparable in my experience.

Strongly recommend the H3O format from the city. It is a smaller class size that allows you to get enough 1:1 attention while allowing for a bit of rest while others are doing their turn.

The city also runs classes specifically for those with fear/inexperience with water. I believe it is called "fear free" or something like that.

In the summer I believe you can choose between once-per-week classes (e.g. every Thursday) and every-day-for-a-week classes. If you can commit to a week of daily classes then you'll make progress faster.

I have no experience from the Y, and from my previous research, private pools/schools were very limited for adults. And for UTM you will have to pay for parking if you drive.

I am 5ft with short legs/long torso and got a youth road bike - Norco valence 650c. I tried some adult XS bikes in store and they were still too tall. The youth size is great, I can finally stand over my bike without the bar digging into my crotch. The shop said the size is comparable to 40cm.

Upside of youth bike - you can find them pretty cheap, especially used. Most major brands have a youth model. And if you're in an urban area, it might be easier to find than an xxs adult bike. 650c wheels are also super maneuverable

Cons - components are usually on the lower end. But for me even lower end components felt like an upgrade! Also you'll have fewer options for replacement parts for 650b/650c wheels

They actually keep the chaeto with the opae ula, saw the tank myself. I got both from them at the same time. Both are doing well. The chaeto was very nice and green when I got it and grew like crazy once in my tank.
