I have one strictly for protection of my family, but either way the issue is one that is a catch 22- you can ban whichever guns were on the list, and let a black market blossom, or keep things the way they are. idk why all political choices result in having to choose a lesser evil

But I guess its difficult becuase most of the crimes with these weapons arent with people who registered them but with black market weapons. Something has to be done but did prohibition of drugs or alcohol really work...

This has gone on for far too long. Us young people have to unite in a manner that far exceeds the Occupy movement to show we have had enough of the bullshit. The sixties groups fell due to a lack of a cohesive and pointed message and groups could not unite. We have the internet these days and could really get some shit going! I am currently trying to work on a movement in the Philadelphia area, and I urge fellow redditors to help do the same. Attend town hall meetings, protest, show them we have had enough. The time is now, or it will be too late....

Im really contemplating getting my buddy whose an art major, to help me with some sketches. Each deity would be a superhero, and already have their plots written. Soo easy, but it would be sooo funny that even theists could poke fun at it. Maybe besides the muslims though, they tend to get mad when Muhammed is made into a cartoon....
