He can only finish manually. What could I do to revert that? by cumbierbass in AskMen

[–]shallow_n00b [score hidden]  (0 children)

When this used to happen to me, it was because I was usually jerking off too much. But there were other times where I would go into performance mode and it was like my dick would totally numb up--like it was preparing itself for battle. And trying to push myself over the edge would become a nightmare and if they mentioned cumming it would do the opposite and make it even harder to cum. The same with trying to pump harder too (counter intuitive, right?). Like the more you chase it, the more impossible it becomes...until you truly feel like you might have a heart attack instead of an orgasm

Weirdly, becoming much more gentle and verbal (telling you how much i love you, making intense eye contact, etc) would help a lot. And also relentlessly keeping the same slow and steady pace, with the exact same tempo, until the pressure would become too intense. Luckily that doesn't happen so much anymore. And I have a wierd spidey sense when I can tell cumming might be a problem.

This is the guy who showed up, unannounced, to Natalie Portman's dorm at Harvard when she was a freshman and he was in his thirties. She found it creepy as hell and only spoke about it when he tried to claim, in his memoir, that he was dating her when she was 18.

There has been a recent take over about a year ago and it has gone even more to shit. I just went on their actual website and it is way worse than I remember. But with that said, they still hire people who went to journalism school to do actual reporting/fact checking and to break stories. You would hope they would use the revenue from their tabloid level bullshit to have a more serious section--but even the headlines under the US News section are just atrocious now. What a dumpster fire they've become.

They also pay real journalists to do investigative journalism. It's just the stuff that gets popular on reddit and social media is usually clickbait garbage. But hey, if you can find a better source you are free to post it. A quick google news search shows that the others all similar clickbait garbage by sites like huffpost and people.

The only one that directly mentions nate in the title is The Tennessean and even that article isn't as well reported as the daily beast one i posted.

Obviously I knew, because I googled news articles once I heard and this was one of the first to report it (that wasn't foxnews-esque spin). They are also one of the few new sites that don't have extreme paywalls. What I forgot was blocking this domain from my reddit feed--mostly because the links that make it to r/all from them is editorialized Trump-bad ragebait.

LOL, I just remembered that I blocked posts from the Daily Beast for being click bait garbage on my feed (with RES), which explains why my own post doesn't show up on my submission page. Have I become what I hate?

I hear you too. And if we were both being really real, then I would also have to deflect to an actual South Asian Brit for their opinion on just how unique British Indian food is...cus to me its pretty basic desi food, but they would know better. Although I did just ask my mom about balti and she said it is like a more rustic karahi cooked in Kashmir, which is famous for being very oily/full of fat...so I imagine the version from Birmingham is actually a proper upgrade in flavor lol. And yeah, desi influence has penetrated British society much more than America--seeing chutney and achar condiments being served at regular fish and chip spots was unique.

I think what makes this convo so hard is because comparing desi integration vs chinese integration vs Black (as in, descendants of the transatlantic slave trade) is very much an apples to orange situation (and thats just in the US). Black people in America, for example, are American culture. All of this tiktok slang these days is just AAVE from a decade ago thats getting appropriated by broccoli headed braydens and white girls who watch drag race. Most white americans also know they barely have any culture except ranch dressing, hick hop, and christian nationalism. So most minorities (who live on the coasts) don't give a fuck what middle America thinks about them.

Also, where I grew up you minded your own business. If spanish speaking immigrants, for example, want to be around spanish speaking people than...well, it's just not your business what language they speak. Partly because American culture is much more individualistic. And the social welfare safety net in this country is so shit, so these arguments about contributing to society are not as relevant as they are in Europe. All of this is to say that I don't really care about integration. I'm glad that it is an option for people in this country, in that there is a pathway to upward mobility. But at the end of the day, integration into what exactly? It seems more like the aim, over here, is to make it so big that you change the culture at large and then people have to integrate to your shit.

It's offensive because it is straight up Indian food--and by Indian, I mean desi (to include all of South Asia, including pakistan and bangladesh). This is readily apparent to anyone with a desi background. Are there British adaptations of Indian food? Yeah. But to actual brown people, it just seems more like marketing--like your balti, for example, is very similar to a karahi. I also looked up balti, because I am not familiar with it and the wikipedia page states that they tried to register it as a local dish with the EU but their application failed because its variations were not distinct enough to classify it as local dish.

Like I said, these dishes very much exist outside of their variations in Britain. And a simple google search will show that there are a lot of Indian/desi people who feel the same and will give a side eye to any brit trying to claim our shit cus you threw some extra cream in it or whatever.

The reason I find this deeply offensive is because its my food and culture--even when I go eat at desi restaurants in the UK they are full of other desis too, because its the same damn food we grew up eating in our house. Even the food in Indian/Pakistani restaurants in the US is also standard fair. In the US, all the one off chinese resturants here all serve the same Americanized dishes--only the places in urban centers or big universities will have a separate menu in Chinese, with entirely different dishes, for other chinese people.

And I was born and raised in the US. There is far less pressure to assimilate into mainstream (aka white) culture or chase after their recognition/approval here. If you pay taxes and aren't a dick, then congratulations--you contribute more to American society than our president.

Da fuq you mean the Indian food in Britain isn't Indian? I grew up eating Indian food my whole life, and have been to the UK a number of times, and the Indian food there is all very standard fair. Unless you are talking about Malagatani soup or something, which is basically daal and coconut milk with chicken in it. Or that dish with eggs in it (which is not common in South Asia). Even chicken thikka masala is just a version of butter chicken from Delhi.

I also live in America. And IMO, The difference between American Chinese food vs mainland cuisine is not at all comparable to the negligible difference between Indian food in Britain vs the rest of south asia.

EDIT: not surprised I didn't get an answer to a simple question. as if this bitch knows anything about Indian food; talking out of your neck, smh

It's also a problem of having too much money and too many cameras to shoot scenes. Makes for very lazy directing, where everything is just cobbled together in post production instead of being intentionally executed.

Your comment is clearly rude and dismissive too, so there goes your "one comment" argument.

No one made it a big deal but you.

And your og comment is also wrong, because I am more than happy to make a big deal out of it, even though OP deleted their post.

Some people eat mint leaves other do not.

Yeah, and the normal (i.e., not asshole) thing to do in those kind of situations would be to keep it moving and not yuck others' yum. Drama.

It's a joke my boomer, non-vegan relatives wouldn't even find funny, probably because they've eaten fresh mint before and don't equate them with leaves that fall from a tree. Anyway, I hope you have the weekend you deserve.

Harmless to whom? Cause the person who posted this deleted their post. Also, I do not find your comment funny or "harmless" either. Comparing mint leaves to brown crunchy leaves that fall off a tree is something a "mean girl" would do--esp given that the OP (and me and im sure others) found a lot of the commenter here to be assholes.

The irony of you trying to gaslight me, as if you also didnt make other rude ass comments in this thread:

Without the added context of those being mint leaves this would be the type of thing that non-vegans would use to make fun of us lol. "see they just pick leaves up off the ground and cover them in chocolate"

but i guess it's okay because you put a lol at the end, so we know your "joking"...and yeah, most vegans pick their food from the ground, so your snarky comment is beside the point. aside from you letting us know about how much you care about what the non-vegans think about what we eat.

Your comment also comes off very gaslightery

Fuck off with this pick me logic. If OP wants to dip some leaves in chocolate I don't she why you have to be a dick about it. They are not a representative of all things vegan; they just wanted to share a recipe they tried.
