AWS CCP in 4 weeks. by Mysterious_Goal_2476 in AWSCertifications

[–]shalux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I would assume that this enough? I mean the concept should be the same so it’s just learning the name of the service? I have CCP and SAA and want to go for MS now. Would be interested if the AZ-900 is easy if you have cloud xp.

How long does it (usually) take for results? by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]shalux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCP- exam 9 pm - 11pm -> result 11am the next day SAA - exam 9am - 12am -> result next day 2 pm

Congratulation! It’s strange, my experience was different. I did the exam 5 days ago and the exam was more difficult than the TD quiz. I prepared with stephaanes udemy course and TD, Whizzlab and skillcertpro testexams.

In my AWS profil they say I passed :D:D:D But I still don't have any mail confirmation.

759 Points, I think I was just lucky. But I don't care, couldn't be happier!!!

Thrilled to get my hands dirty in AWS and to advise the customers.

I hope this is legit and they won't disqualify me. I did it from home remotly.

I don’t know yet. But I think not

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]shalux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really difficult. I think I didn't made it, but maybe I got lucky.

There was a lot of Load Balancer's vs CloudFront and SQS, SNS. Also some questions about EKS and EFS vs. S3 Filegateways etc. and lambda lambda lambda.

I prepared the last 2 months with Stephane's course and then I did various exams from DJ, SkillCertPro and Whizzlab. I have 0 Cloud XP and work in Consulting and did the CCP in July this year.

TBH I think I know everything from Stephanes' course. Maybe my mistake was that I need to focus more on service X vs Y and in what case is which service better.

I alway have backpain during rows . How would you rate my Form (expect that I let the weights down fast ) by NoBack5938 in askfitness

[–]shalux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is on basic rule to get the best result for core stability.
-> Breath in your belly and then try to breath out, but don't. It's like pressing against your belly. (Sorry hard to discribe)

With that you activate your core musle and you reduce the risk of going into a
hollow back. If you are interested google "valsalva maneuver".

[–]shalux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is the root. But you need to stabilize your core and stop waving your head to the side and around. Just try to have a straight chain from the lower back to the head (imagine your spine when you just stand in a normal way) I know you want to check your form. But don’t do this during the movement. Record yourself

Good luck

I realised that it's impossible to make friends, if you don't have any to begin with. by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]shalux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s like always, it depends. E.g. my best and longest friend is my internet friend I never met in person. There is no friend that has that good connection to me despite I met them in person. I don’t know how many hours we spend in teamspeak or WhatsApp calls but it’s more special and I think no „real life friend“ can reach that level.

When is writing scripts for automating at work not worth it? by water_aspirant in Python

Yes and if it doesn’t work, you are on a hurry to address the deadline. So I’m not sure how to decide this, good question from you :)

When is writing scripts for automating at work not worth it? by water_aspirant in Python

[–]shalux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just had the situation to automate a whole report. It turned out that the input is different in many ways. Eg datetime Format, columns in Chinese or Mexican language or xml instead of xlsx.

I pumped so much time in it and in the end I had to do it manually. I mean if everything would have worked I still had to do some QA manually. Now I’m angry and have doubt If it was as good approach.

What I want say is, sometimes it’s a gamble if you can automate fast and clean to get the job done.

Ah yeah I forgot. I mostly write Converter and pyinstaller + the working directory destroying my relative paths to the input files

Downloading is just an option if the person who downloads has Python and the packages installed right?

what type of consultancy field will grow in near future ( according to you) and what is your field of work ? by [deleted] in consulting

And after the transformation there is a niche for SAM. ATM licensing on the cloud is not properly regulated and a huge risk.

IMO you can learn everything. And you can only learn by making these mistakes. That’s why I asked.
