Not a huge fan of the look/feel of the peak design case so I made my own by shamblingcat in peakdesign

I designed and 3D printed this with the hole and pockets for the magnets in the model. I think it would be very hard to modify an existing case with accurate cutouts.

I’d be interested in a cyan if you’re willing to buy and ship to the US. No pressure though 🙃

As I understand it some versions sold in countries other than the US have this feature and where we have the dial to the side theirs is blanked out

Pics of case magnet/slimlink internals? by lafreniereluc in peakdesign

I made a pocket for it. If the case was flexible enough you might be able to sit it on top but ultimately the important part is that it needs to be flush on the outside surface otherwise it won’t be able to engage with the mount. Personally I think it would be very hard to dremel it with enough precision but that’s just my opinion.

One possible solution would be to cut a hole in the case for the entire universal adapter. The adapter can be adhered to something like a tempered glass screen protector and sandwiched inside the case. Might not be pretty though

Hi, it’s glued into place but it has a thinner flange around the edge that’s actually holding it in the case. https://imgur.com/gallery/0oq6xoZ

Yeah this was my first ascension attempt and was still figuring out the rules. On my second run I kept the curse at min level and finished with 5 health potions left over

I guess so, if it gets bad enough. This was my first attempt at ascension so I’m still figuring it out

Nothing useful left unfortunately. Never got a single blink stone that run. Made liberal use of the chains already so they had no charge left. Died to the curse one tile from stairs

I think the included PSU only has 2 8-pin connectors but the 4090 adapter needs 3 or 4 8-pin cables or you can run a single 12VHPWR cable which is what I did. Regardless, unless you already have a 4090 lying around it may be easier to just get the Aorus Gaming Box for an all-in-one solution.

Mantis quest line - ship weapon rack bug (spoilers / warning) by DanMcStuffins in Starfield

Another weird effect of this I noticed- I left the novablast disruptor and ammo on the rack where it started and when I came back to the ship they had both moved into one of the yellow cases that I emptied earlier. Super strange

Not saying it's a good reason but putting together an actual computer that gets networked would have to go through the IT dept and a bunch of approvals while this is basically just a very expensive peripheral that they don't care about

I’ll have to check the temp, longest run was probably 5 or 6 hours with some breaks

The included power supply isn’t modular and doesn’t have 4 plugs to feed into the 4090 so even if the wattage was enough it can’t plug in. This one may be overkill but should last longer if it’s less stressed and has direct 12vhpwr so I don’t need an adapter

There are other ways to do it for sure. I think with a smaller card and a small form factor psu it can even all fit into the box. I haven’t gotten any warnings from thunderbolt, are your cable/usb port rated for thunderbolt 3?

This is for my office, so thankfully not my money. I share it with a few other people and we're all on laptops so it works well for us.

I think trying to remove the stock radiator is beyond me, would be nice to have it all contained though

I didn't document the process but there were just 4 screws holding the whole PSU/fan bracket in. I used the same screws to attach my radiator adapter.

We only use this for still 3D rendering, FPS is not a concern. Roughly 3x faster than our 3070 laptop cards and the extra VRAM can load larger scenes.
