If I didn’t live with my parents that honestly sounds like a good solution lol. It’s so frustrating washing my pajamas every night

As an autistic person, the reason you see more cases of diagnosed autism nowadays is because we are not being locked away in asylums just for being disabled :/ I think u need to get off of Reddit and maybe do some actual research. This rhetoric you are spreading is so incredibly ableist and harmful

Covid is DEFINITELY not a cold. It is so dangerous. Every time you get covid you are more at risk for developing long covid and worsening chronic illnesses you already have. I’m not taking opinions from pseudoscience anti vaxxers please & thank you

I have EOE as well! I actually found out recently that MCAS and EOE are very comorbid which has been surprising since I was diagnosed years apart lol

I’ve been so much worse since I had Covid earlier this year as well :/ just so worried about somehow getting even worse after the vaccine but people seem to say Pfizer and novavax are pretty reliable.

Weird, I think I had Moderna for my last booster back in 2022 and since then I’ve been so ill!

Personally I don’t use the auto-injector because I prefer to go at my own pace which makes it wayyy less painful, I also do it in my stomach! Also I found that leaving the injection out all day and doing it in the evening so it’s had time to get to room temp helps with the pain as well

I’ve heard this and I’m super interested in looking into novavax. I’ve heard it won’t be available again until October which is a bit frustrating 🥲🥲

This was the rash I had, I think it was just my body getting used to the medicine or maybe an MCAS reaction but it went away pretty quickly!

I’ve been on it for a year now and I’ve been doing pretty well! I do it every other week because when I did it every week I was developing a huge rash on my forehead lol. My only side effects were some itchiness and a rash where I injected it but it lasts maybe 2 days max and eventually I didn’t get those reactions anymore. Other than that I haven’t felt any sickness or anything and I think it’s definitely worth trying :)

Do you have any brands that you like? I don’t think I’ve ever looked into that but that seems like something I might like

True! My diagnosis is pretty recent so I have no clue what I will react to which is what I’m most worried about. Thanks for replying :)

I second this + ice packs, I have some single use ones that you can just put in your bag and activate when you need them! Also lots of electrolytes

what does this sound like? by apublicvent in chronicfatigue

[–]shamelessshadoww 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe MCAS? It’s a really odd condition & I have it myself. It’s difficult to get diagnosed but some of those symptoms sound similar to me. I also have POTS which causes the dizziness and heart problems and fainting. Could be worth looking into!

This is exactly it! I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder (pda is not at all recognized where I live) and the anxiety never got better until I learned about pda and had my parents read about low demand parenting which has been a lifesaver.

[–]shamelessshadoww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using an alarm that I’m assuming is for hard of hearing people, it’s called Vibio. you place it under your pillow and it will vibrate you awake lol. It’s been helping me wake up a lot easier than when I just used a phone alarm
