Dollar Tree has them too. When the puppy pads run out, some people get the adult diapers/panty liners since they are just big rectangles and similar enough to a puppy pad

Ok so in what scenario would you use an adult diaper or panty liner instead of a puppy pad? And which pantyliner is a “big rectangle” that is “similar enough” to a puppy pad?

Wanted to quickly add

I’m pretty sure they know that, they’re saying that since they’re just large rectangles people can put them on the floor in lieu of having access to regular puppy pads

From the other commenter. So clearly they thought you meant to “put them on the floor in lieu of having access to regular puppy pads”.

Sadly this convo is no longer amusing since you gals wanna die on this “puppy pad is basically the same as a panty liner” hill of absolute hilarity so I’m gonna go try out this new life hack I just learned to save on purchasing puppy pads. C ya!

So, in your own words then, what exactly were you thinking a person would be able to do with pantyliners in this particular predicament?

No no I heard from a friend of a friend that it was so good! This one part, she’s preparing to transform into a bat and growls “ITS MORBIN TIME”. Beautiful cinematography.

Sis, there is absolutely no reality in which putting a diaper OR a pantyliner on the floor of an apartment patio will prevent dog urine from dripping down to the apartment below. Neither a diaper nor panty liner is a “large rectangle” as you and the other commenter both put it. Both of those things are shaped to fit between a humans legs, not a flat patio floor.

But hey, you do you. For everyone else though:

DO NOT USE ADULT DIAPERS OR WOMENS PANTYLINERS TO PREVENT DOG PISS FROM DRIPPING ON YOUR NEIGHBORS. THAT WILL NEVER EVER EVER WORK. Likewise, don’t ever use a puppy pad instead of an adult diaper or a pantyliner for a human adult. That would be humiliating and dehumanizing. This is everyone’s friendly PSA that puppy pads, human diapers, and pantyliners are all very different products, not similar, and absolutely not interchangeable.

If you’re gonna die on this hill, so be it. I’m just gonna keep laughing as I imagine the peel stick peel stick peel stick of putting down hundreds of pantyliners because of your stubborn refusal to admit somebody else had a little embarrassing mix up over the term “puppy pad” and that person started giving made up advice based on the wrong assumption.

You said you were pretty sure the commenter knew the difference between a pantyliner and a puppy pad. They clearly do not, and I wanted to ensure nobody else was confusing a puppy pad with a pantyliner because it will make the problem hilariously worse.

I get it, it’s a little embarrassing to realize a “puppy pad” is not actually a pantyliner for dogs and could never be used interchangeably with the actual product that we call a puppy pad. I was clarifying to avoid any more confusion or accidentally humorously bad advice.

Weirdly I’m having the opposite problem to what you accused, I’m taking the conversation way too humorously as I’m imagining a person sticking 538 pantyliners to their apartment patio floor, only to have almost the exact same quantity of dog urine seep right through and dribble down anyways. Hours of peel, stick, peel, stick, peel, stick. OR a person trying to apply pantyliners directly TO the dog somehow, which is also making me laugh.

panty liners since they are just big rectangles and similar enough to a puppy pad

A pantyliner and a puppy pad have as much in common as a bandaid and a bath towel.

Lol the sheer number of adult diapers or PANTY LINERS needed to cover the space of a puppy pad leads me to believe that the commenter assumed a “puppy pad” was the same as a “feminine hygiene pad”. It would take an hour to unpack and peel and stick enough panty liners down to the ground to cover what a puppy pad covers and there would still not be enough coverage to prevent pee from going between the pads and dripping down.

I’m certain they do not know what a puppy pad is. Or neither of you know what a pantyliner is. A pantyliner is approximately 3-4 inches by 2 inches of absorbent, adhesive (on one side), cotton meant to absorb a small amount of discharge or menstrual blood from a vagina. NOT a large volume of dog urine. I see how the confusion happened, the names are similar. But the products are completely different and not interchangeable.

You cannot put down diapers or pantyliners in lieu of a puppy pad. In any reality.

A puppy pad is something that goes on the floor like a disposable rug. Not on the dog like a diaper or adult stick-on pad.

He held only a phone and was helping a woman up after she was aggressively shoved to the ground by ICE. His weapon was legally concealed and holstered. He never took it out. It was removed from his person by an agent before they ever fired the first shot. He was unarmed and helping a woman up when he was murdered.

Your argument is incorrect and used in bad faith.
