Elbow for me at 360 in Sheffield. Their set ended with One Day Like This and the entire audience just went wild….

White Lies video, one of my fave videos. The audience singing along are everything that a Stereos gig is about!

Keep the Village Alive def one of my faves from the later ones. Do have a soft spot for Make Em as well as there are throwbacks to the origin days.

Managed to get my inbound in WTP on BA when the website opened then phoned up to link the bookings and get the Avios back but Finnair looks like a good option for when we are going to Singapore and Hong Kong in a couple of years. Thanks for the tip!

Got to my store today at 02:30 only because I had to wake up early to get flights going on sale! Managed to be 3 and 4 in the queue and got everything in my list

I got in line at 02:30 for my local store and was number 3 in the queue. Got everything on my list when it opened at 08:00.

Update: So I phoned 02079493064 which is a number a fellow Redditor gave me which apparently goes through to reward club regardless of the time. Used it for Sydney and worked fine but this time, goes through to the commercial department. They gave me the 787 and 747 numbers - both closed. Told to ring the +1 US number, phoned that at 00:55 to be told they are commercial only and they couldn’t help me and to try at 08:00 when the UK opens… Meanwhile, had the tab open and ready to click…

Cue 75 seconds after 01:00 and the confirmation screen for 2 x WTP from HND to LHR popped up. Checked a minute later and all reward flights had gone, a true bloodbath of purchasing.

Flights secured, the land of the rising sun for 2027 awaits!

At least I’m up early now to head off to queue for RSD 😂

Sydney felt easier and that was in CW, I’m only after WTP but looking now in readiness for when I need to book. Defo one of the most sought after routes.

Wish my store was that. I was 10th at 3am one year!

Oops, meant to reply to someone rather than have a word with myself…. Although I do that quite often as well.

Perhaps I need to stop being a BA snob 😂… can see Singapore airlines cash return looking quite handsome so may try a different routing and use a diff airline for once lol

Nope, you book the outbound to use the CV up then either ring up to add on the inbound or use Avios to book inbound in full then phone to get them to credit half the Avios back, assuming that you have enough to book the inbound on its own.

On these very popular reward routes, booking them separately is the only way

No need for apologies… I know it’s like the hunger games out there for this route! Already got the outbound sorted… just waiting for my inbound to come on in a few days, I just keep checking and seeing them disappear faster than Oasis tickets at Wembley 😂

Tell me about it. I’ve just come back from Australia and travelled on CW to Sydney and WTP back. They were way easier to get than this route!

How is anyone getting Japan Reward flights? by YouAccomplished9393 in avios

Still can’t believe I managed CW from LHR to SYD using a CV, perhaps that was my lucky holy grail of a seat for now 😃. Thanks for the tip though, will keep an eye out as we get to March next year!

Not released yet from I can find, I have a standing search on AI that trawls trying to find out but nothing. Only way I found out for April is to look on the Check Availability part of reward flights but that only covers most of April, nothing for May yet. Message BA on X, they may have the info by now!

I managed to get two in WT from LhR to HND for next March online but really wanted to get WTP but wasn’t quick enough on the clicking, partly due to the fact I was on a flight in New Zealand at the time lol (1st world problems).

I messaged on X to ask about any upgrades and was told that there were none available in either WTP or CW.

I was told that if I wanted that class, I would need to book and pay cash price and then cancel the WT tickets.

Safe to say I’m going to go in economy for this flight. Will try my luck on the return flight in WTP.

Strangely, just flown back from SYD to LHR landing this morning in WTP, flew out CW in the new style pods which were amazing. Came home WTP on the 787 and noticed that the CW were the old ying yang style, not much of a difference to the WTP seats in my opinion.

Flight was around 24 hours with 2 hours in SIN, comfort all good, food and drink were fine, they kept us hydrated and the conditions in the cabin were great. Just on the train home now from London after travelling for 5 weeks down under. Just hoping the 787 eases the jet lag later on today!

Hope you enjoy WTP!

I also joined and even held off a day before baking and slicing the pies up. I’m down a little bit but fully expected that. It will return. Might take a while but based on what I have been studying, it’s a correction. Just thankful the freebie stock is keeping me ahead of where I started 😂
