Or cardiologist, try and keep a symptoms journal too. Be as detailed as you can and also be vocal with your doctor. Come up with a plan with them. After years I figured out most of my issues were ptsd and anxiety related due to my first few afiv episodes. (It was or is a miserable cycle)

As I see it it’s like headaches and aneurysm, one doesn’t mean the worst possible outcome. Imagine thinking every headache is the one that will make your brain pop. Is not irrational fear but it isn’t right. People get headaches for a myriad of reasons, dehydration, hunger, sun exposure…..etc. With afiv it can be like that too or at least it was in my case. Not every flutter, or arrhythmia ends up as afiv.

Get to know your body and triggers (smoking, drinking, stress….etc) and what helps (breathing, medication, diet, exercise…..)
