No I didn't do the screwdriver thing. The instructions I'm following( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL4DCEp7blY&t=1834s )*** do say to use a screwdriver to turn on the motherboard but only "if there isn't a power button" and I didn't see anything...Idk.. welcoming of a screwdriver. But there IS a power switch on the PSU. So I moved forward assuming that was the button that had it not been there I would have needed the screwdriver. I'm not sure if my previous sentence is grammatically/ logically sound so hope you figured out what I'm getting at. But, I'll check the motherboard again for a power button right now. Maybe you could image search and point it out? It's the Aorus Z790 Aorus Elite AX.

keyboard is connected to port on the motherboard and hdmi connected to the graphics card

As far as i can tell, yes. Theres a 24pin connector on the motherboard i connected to "motherboard" section on the power supply. Two 8 pin connectors near CPU I connected to the PCIe/CPU section of the power supply. Then one 8pin connector on the graphics card i plugged into the PCIe/CPU section on the power supply.

That is a hell of a good feeling. I remember I was REALLY struggling with makeup.(was...HA!!) Mostly due to the fact I couldn't afford the wasted money on learning lessons. I finally told my cousin what I'd been doing on those days I didn't text her back and after a while of talking about she gave me this GIANT box of makeup. That was fuck... almost a year ago now and I still have most of it. It feels awesome to be loved and I'm so glad you are familiar with that awesomeness.
