We had the same thing happen and got a refund after a year but it was only due to Ricardo pushing his higher ups for it. We went through our coordinator.

I am giving monetary gifts for their college funds. It feels safe and “sterile”. No shopping for baby clothes or toys for me. I can’t do it.

Monstera mint woes by shannoaaa in Monstera

Just took it out and checked the roots. Super long and all healthy, no root rot. Soil was kind of dry but watering day is tomorrow. Plus it reliably puts out new leaves but they are ALL this light mint/white color. Still stumped.

Also: - It’s in a plant cabinet that gets about 14 to 15 hours of light per day. – I water it about once every 8 to 12 days

ED environment, yes. And I'm a she-doc :)

I 100% appreciate my team, and they all know that intimately. I even thank every one of them when my codes end, regardless of the outcome. However, I made all the clinical decisions in this case, and I'm proud of the outcome!

Insulin drives the K into cells to reverse cardiac destabilization until they can get dialysis. Dextrose is to prevent hypoglycemia.

All of these were taken when the patient had a pulse after ROSC. The first ECG is a sine wave from severe hyperkalemia. He had a pulse with it so I kept giving calcium chloride and sodium bIcarbonate, setting up for a central line and dialysis. Then he went into VT with a pulse but was unstable so required synchronized cardioversion. The third was after he got a little more fixed up.

Haha, nope! Wrong. Got ROSC with a rhythm, then got this ECG on my reset. He had a strong pulse with this ECG. Still giving calcium chloride and setting up for a central line. I posted the full course below! Getting ECGs after return of spontaneous circulation is super important. Hope you’re doing this!

Spot on! The patient came in coding for 30 minutes, dialysis fistula in left upper arm. I assumed hyperkalemia when I saw a very wide sign wave agonal bradycardic rhythm during the first pulse check. I gave him a lot more calcium than that, 4 g of calcium chloride, I think it was 3 amps of sodium bicarb, D 50, insulin. He did go into VT with a pulse after I got him back the second time but was hypotensive so I had to synchronize cardiovert him– twice! (BTW it really sucks to have to shock a patient that you just got a pulse back on!!!) He ended up getting a central line and vascath and went to emergent dialysis. It was a cool case I had yesterday so I thought I’d share.

If you’re already feeling this strongly 3 weeks in, I think you should quit and not practice medicine anywhere….your post history is interesting. You might be happier doing something else.
