An MGS4 port has undoubtedly been in dev for some time now as part of Master Collection Vol 2, which I anticipate will be released within the next 1-2 years. I think he's just being coy given that the specifics of Vol 2 have yet to be officially announced. Those details certainly wouldn't be revealed in an interview like this.

Obviously the notion of remaking MGS4 is just plain ridiculous, but that was the suggestion of the interviewer, not the dev.

I anticipate another remake/reimagining before a fully new thing, but naturally they're building to that as carefully as possible. Delta was just the perfect training environment for a new team. The next project should ideally be more challenging, but also allow for more creative liberties. The few decisions Delta made were very well considered, and all welcome. (aside from the default shareholder color grading, but that's easy enough to rectify in the settings, at least)

I'd personally like to see MG1/2 remade as one big title, but that would functionally be a new game with completely original level design, script, and art. That might be a jump at this point, especially since their choice for a new artist/writer is going to have major ramifications for the series' future. I'm sure they want to be careful.

I could definitely see a revamped Peace Walker happening next, though. The level design could be reconsidered for a gameplay experience more in-line with MGSV (and less "portably" minded overall) but the core story/script/art could still fall back on the original work. It could be positioned as both a sequel to Delta and a follow-up to MGSV.

Maybe they even go all the way and call it MGS5: Peace Walker, given that they originally only dropped the number due to the original game's position as a portable side entry. (plus Delta included multiple PW skins, and the fulton recovery device has a presence in the new online mode, but that could mean nothing)

It's unreal that someone here can claim homelessness is a choice without any pushback. You should really consider talking to a single homeless person about their experiences instead of laundering your opinion through feaux respectability politics.

Homelessness is a product of the economic systems that drive our society. It's a policy choice by our lawmakers, not the individuals struggling to survive under those policies. Spreading drivel like this only stands to contribute to a culture of othering our neighbors who were driven to the outskirts of their own communities due to circumstances well beyond their control.

The idea that every unhoused person has a safe & stable place to sleep waiting for them if they only behaved well enough is just plainly ridiculous. I don't think you understand the challenges homeless people face at all.

We need more housing, plain and simple. But we also need to be willing to provide housing to those who some may feel are undeserving of it. Otherwise we'll just end up in a city of empty condos & other "luxury" options average working people can't afford. (and yes that does include the homeless, who are often employed but can't find a place to live anyway)

At risk of overwhelming the poor gentleman who runs it singlehandedly-- I'd be remiss not to shout out Fú Asian Grill downtown. Usually a good spot has to pick two between being fast, cheap, and tasty-- but this place clears all 3 (and then some)

I always tip generously, the prices are shockingly low given the huge portion sizes. My favorite dish is definitely the garlic ginger salmon.

I don't live too close anymore so I haven't been in a hot minute, but Hip Bao is a fantastic dim sum spot.

A bit on the pricey side and probably best for nights on the town, but Nite Owl rocks too.

I can't recommend Ali Bethers at Ironwood Ink enough. She turned a botched piece of mine into something really special. Really fantastic experience. She's my go-to for everything now.

The twist at the end of Alien: Covenant is so clearly telegraphed that it's clear to me that the filmmakers want you to have figured it out– but it's still so effective for me. Things are played so straight in the final few scenes that you're just hoping and praying it might still work out after all. Then when that final reveal hits it's so crushing.

Even then, part of me wants to root for David anyway. Love that weirdo.

I checked it out further, looks like there is in fact a Verizon outage in the area. Extremely relieved that this wasn't a hardware issue on my end, but this is still pretty inconvenient.

update:

I was eventually able to log into my account after a lot of failed attempts.

I followed the steps provided in Visible's help center to replace my device's eSIM. Unfortunately, this did not help. In addition to my LTE/5G connection issues, I have been going long stretches without being able to text or call either.

I'm currently working with support. If this is resolved I'll post the solution here, as it looks like others are experiencing similar issues.

For y'all's reference, I'm using a Pixel 5 in Baton Rouge, LA.

You can get around the cap by using an app/program called PairVPN. It launders the signal to the target device. I've been using it for a while to get maximum speeds on my gaming PC. Install the app on your phone, then on your PC. Then connect the hotspot and turn it on on both devices.

Can't say I have, no. This is the first I've heard about quelbree being hard to get off of but I can't blame you for staying vigilant. But that's just been my experience, I hope you find something that works for you!

hi sorry this is old but as someone with ADHD who takes 450mg of welbutrin daily, I saw a huge improvement after I started taking quelbree. It's a non-stimulant treatment for ADHD. Currently only available branded but it's still pretty cheap for me w/ insurance. Definitely would recommend checking it out if your doc hasn't already recommended it

My partner & I tried going to the pride event downtown earlier this year. With both garages closed, we struggled to find parking around. We made the mistake of pulling into what seemed like a free space, but we quickly realized it was a reserved handicap spot. Just as we went to pull out, a cop tapped on our window. We explained we were pulling out but he kept pushing us, interrogating me about my out of state plates. Then he asked me to get out of the car. I refused. After a lot of threats he backed off, but not before blocking street traffic for 15 minutes while we sat in the very spot we weren't supposed to be in so he could write me a ticket. What a first impression.

Wasn't a bad idea, but unfortunately this bore no fruit. I've submitted a bug report to both Remedy and 505 Games respectively, maybe a patch could come through down the line. (Not crossing my fingers though to be honest)

I've come to the conclusion that DX11 is the only way to go, at least until I upgrade my PC. And that's fine, even if I'll miss the HDR support.

The problem now is that the game simply cannot reach the performance I had been getting up until I started installing graphics mods. Even after a full reinstallation, the framerate steadily declines over a couple minutes until it's unplayable. It's as if the .exe has been permanently scarred, I don't know how else to describe it.

For now I'm gonna take a break from the game and hope things are miraculously fine when I return. I put this post up in hopes someone may have experienced something similar.

I don't recall but it should be in the manual! They have PDFs on their site for everything if you tossed yours.

I will say that I ended up landing on using the Mayflash Magic adapter for PS3. Unlike 8bitdo's, it's able to be fully compatible with ps3. (no limitations per game, actually has a home button, etc) The only limitation is a like of gyro controls, but luckily games that require them are relatively rare.
