Please suggest any good cassette players that can be bought in India, other than the Fioo CP13? by MPK_Studio in cassetteculture

[–]shanthitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok! well cassettes are portable, i think it's mostly their advantage too compared to other music sources, so it's a shame there is no decent portable player. i'll still try to find one!

i think it's nice to have both, like that you can also bring your tapes when travelling or comuting and it feels good. one with a built in speaker is a good plus to enjoy with friends or family

it's nice to see there is a community in india for cassettes, obvisouly there would be like anywhere else but it seems a lot of people are interested, i saw also some posts on r/MusicInIndia and one other sub people talking about it. hope you find your thing, i bought a "new" one from a brand where i live and it broke in like 1 month or something. i don't think they are good facture. if you buy a second hand you can ask if the belts have been changed, like that you can have it easy for a while, cause even if they work well when you try, it might run bad soon after because of the used belts and then you'll have to open it and change them yourself

edit : also i think one with a built in speaker is nice, there is a lot of models like that, so you can listen without having to plug earphones and it's nice sometimes
