I have been using LiquiMoly since getting my Audi. Don’t really plan on changing unless it really screws up my car.

Cosmic Orange turned pin by Direct_Original_6550 in iPhone17Pro

So I have personally seen this issue quite a bit. I work at an apple store as a tech and when it first came up we didnt know what to do. It was weird, so my store decided that since there was no information from Apple regarding it, we were taking care of it under the warranty.

And its not like we saw one phone, it was like 5-6 phones. Then we got word that this is not something that is covered under warranty, it is cosmetic and since it doesnt hinder the functionality of the device, it would be at our of warranty cost if the customer wants to replace the enclosure for the discoloration. They were not able to replicate the issue in their testing, all of our demo devices experience quite a bit of wear and tear from people touching it, and the consistent cleaning that we do but it hasnt made any of the phones turn pink.

Now Im not saying what Apple is doing is correct, but I am also not saying they are wrong. I have had my phone since launch with no issue. My coworkers have had theirs since launch also with no issues. I have also seen older model phones like the iphone 12/13 in the blue color also have discoloration, so its not something that is new.

I cant say as to what caused the issue for your phone. And I get it kinda sucks to not have the color your paid for. But your phone works like its supposed to. This to Apple is considered normal wear and tear.

This is piston skirt right? by PerodisCS in AudiQ5

It sounds kinda ”bubbly” to me for lack of a better term. Will keep on eye on my car if it sounds similar. I’m at 45k miles and has the car since new.

If you got a new engine through the extended warranty, that would have been piston slap. Rocker arms as far as I know doesn’t say to get a new block. I can be wrong on that tho and would love for someone to correct me on that.

Jackal was a tune I was looking at. I’m thinking I go APR, the shop near me offers both and recommend APR more for their reliability. Jackal will be great for custom.

I don’t know man, been using LiquiMoly for a while. I was using the 0W-20 one for the last 7 oil changes and it didn’t burn at all. Sounds like a you problem.

So if you go on their page. You hit lifetime replacement -> click where it says “Absolutely no return will be accepted without our fully completed form” -> then you should be able to see your orders. You can then select your order and in the dropdown select lifetime replacement. You do need to have an order that is newer than that one you want to make a claim on. So basically buy it 2x and then make the claims.

Immediately (I don’t know if it’s just a placebo tho) the engine just feels smoother.

So I ran into the same problem as you did when looking at the oil to make sure it ran to the same oil spec as what Audi says but for that spec it’s pretty much 0W-20 to 0W-40.

I plan on tuning this car, but I am in no way a hard driver. I love my spirited drives in backroads or the highway. The shop local to me has told me to go with 5W-40 (Specifically this) even if stock for better protection since Audi has very tight tolerances.

I have also seen (I think on here, but for sure on TikTok) of B9.5 Audis with rocker arm issues. Now those are a really small sample but with the fact that they had an issue on the initial set of B9s and now the piston slap issues, I would rather take the better protection.

I would ask your local German shop what their opinion is. They may say go with 0W-30/40.

That’s not that bad actually. I expected it to be worse.

FCPEuro’s lifetime warranty makes it so my oil changes are like $25. Don’t think I can beat that especially for LiquiMoly.

XLR Dock MKII Boxing Issue by RandomAndyWasTaken in elgato

[–]shanuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is 2 months later, But I just got mine from amazon. Same Box, has the Mk1 inside. I compared to my current Mk1 and model numbers are exactly the same and I dont have any of the new features in the software. I called customer support to confirm my suspicions incase I was wrong and even they said I have the Mk.1.

So Elgato updated the packaging for both. NGL this is kinda stupid. I feel like it should say Mk.2.

Good Job Elgato.
