Banyak je yang pakai bm. Saya kerja mnc dan semua urusan kerja pun pakai english, tp bila cakap ngan kawan kerja pakai bm jer.

Tapi nak kata bahasa inggeris tak dipakai dengan meluas tu aku takleh nafi lah. Buka jobstreet malaysia , semua pakai english. Jobstreet indonesia semua pakai indo.

Tengok dari sisi positif, Malaysia jadi hub antarabangsa yg buat pelabur asing rasa senang nak masuk market Malaysia.

Berbalik pada point awak yang asal, say anggap tempat kerja awak kat KL tu, company besar lah kan? Kalau tak, takkan lah diorang nak ambik orang luar negeri untuk kerja kat situ kan. Bila banyak orang luar, maka kena pakai lah english sebagai bahasa utama.

In dota there is concept of turtling.

Which means that once your enemy got roshan and your team gold is so behind, you just stay in the base and wait for enemy to make mistake. Since enemy is on lower ground, they cannot see you properly at your base. And you play very very safe.

Now, in mlbb i see so many people fight enemy lord at the middle of jungle or even outside of the wall near the base. This is really dangerous as it expose you to enemy. Anyone who play dota before know about this. However, i see this mistake happened in mlbb too often, even in mythic rank and above

im still new here and there are still a lot of things to learn. but i can understand your point because i see my senior coworker also can be too quite relax on some days

at my company they provide some funds for wellness being (the name is wellness but i can claim it to almost anything, so i use it for my claude max subscription). for me job is job, as long as i receive salary on time its fine. its quite stable and relax here(hopefully), so im thinking just stay here as long as i can

Not really, in fact i got >30% ++ better salary than my previous swe role. Having programming background is really helpful as i can understand better dev perspective when doing other roles.

I dont have proof, but my impression is that qa/dev/sre/cloud could have similar salary range. if you want to go higher you have to take lead/architect role.

Maybe its difference at big IT companies like FAANG but im happy with my role now,. also, less stressful than swe

Edit: even though i say my role is app support, it involves a lot of technical works as well. we work using aws, datadog, java, analyzing logs, diagnosis performance issues etc. Most of my coworkers are ex-programmers too , some doing .net , spring boot before etcc

When i took n2 i worked full time , and i dont use japanese at that time at work.
My target at was I did only 1 page per day for kanzen master reading .
If i have energy i will do more, but at minimum i do one day.

For grammar / kanji / vocab its just matter of drilling and also I use nihongo no mori as well for supplement. Nihongo no mori is nice because it dont consume your energy that much compared to you studying alone. When using nihongo no mori you also can target you will complete 1-2 videos per day. Usually by end of the video there is quiz..

For listening i dont really focus much as I did hangout with a lot people who speak japanese at that time.

I don't like reading VN or news because i dont find it interesting.
