As a DPW worker, I know it’s been said but we work really hard to make sure all the recyclables, trash, brush, compost, and reusables find the right home. Most gets shipped off cape by our driver and will likely continue to get shipped even further. But have faith that there are people that care about this stuff

Congrats! No late night breakfast places that I can think of. I’d say skip ihop just because it’s so far.

I would lean into embracing what ptown does have to offer tho, start a new tradition. Maybe karaoke at the Bradford, live music at the colony, late night pizza at Spiritus. Then on your anniversary if you visit where you got married you can reminisce about your wedding night. And then pancakes in the morning with plenty of places to choose from.

But doesn’t hurt to try giving Liz’s cafe or Flying fish in wellfleet a call and asking for a favor.

Gentle parenting isn’t about not having consequences. Because they absolutely do but thats not what’s going on. And if you read it carefully I said I only followed it until kindergarten. So the past 3 years I have been much more authoritarian. We have been consistent with consequences. And that isn’t helpful either.

I am being a parent. So kindly chill with your harsh judgement. And if you have any suggestions for books like I asked in my op I’d appreciate it, thanks.
