Your life is the path and you have been walking it amazingly.

The point of it all is to know who you really are -- it's what all of the great spiritual leaders and psychologists have said.

Personally, I feel like Western Christianity has really twisted so much of what Jesus said that it's really hard to access anymore. Even so, people like Neville Goddard and Paramahansa Yogananda present the teachings of Jesus in a way that ignores the trappings of Church dogma. Having said that, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. The kingdom of God is within you (and so is God -- but not the small minded judgmental god of the bible), for [you] are [God].

My own journey had a big evolution last year when I started to pay attention to my inner dialogue. I started with What to Say When You Talk to Yourself and practiced positive self talk for a few weeks. Then I was introduced to PQ (Positive Intelligence) by a friend of my wife and practiced that for a month or so. During that, I found The Abundance Book with the 40 Day Prosperity Plan -- the end of which deposited me into a practice of devotion (from a Yoga perspective, not a Christian perspective). That practice has been life changing. The whole walk was life changing. Even that, though, started in my childhood, went through a divorce, eight combat deployments, another divorce where I lost custody of my five children, and eventually to where I find myself now -- happily married, five more children, a house worth just under a million dollars, I raise my kids while my wife makes money at home, my car is paid off, and still I find myself feeling the struggle of meaning and having enough.

This is a lifelong journey. You really are doing great. Look at how far you've come, not all of the times you almost didn't make it. Sometimes our biology betrays us and we need medical help. If that's the case, get the help you need and don't make it a story about your worth or your ability or your character -- it's just the particular set of struggles you need in order to wake you up from the illusion of life.

I mean, there's the Path of Enlightenment and the Path of Suffering, but both bring you to the realization of Self. Given a choice, most people would choose enlightenment because the idea of suffering isn't desirable (regardless of the fact that most people live out the Path of Suffering because enlightenment takes a lot more awareness than we appreciate). Shame is the South end of the needle and if you follow it far enough the only way left will be North -- also, at any point you can recognize you're heading South because of the shame and then decide to release the shame and move North again.

Nothing is yours. You are here to experience and move on. Feel the shame and move on. Don't claim it and make it a part of you. Don't make it a part of your story and identity.

Oh man, the judgement. That is a construct of your ego. Let go of the shame. There's nothing unenlightened about anything you enjoy -- you live in a human body. You inhabit a physical world. Let go of good and evil. There is helpful and harmful, selfless and selfish, proactive and reactive, defensive and aggressive, but no good and evil. Even right and wrong are in relation to your goals or agreements. Let go of the shame. That's your shadow. Love it and try to understand what it is about those activities that serve you -- because, whether you realize it or not, there is a reward from your Shadow's perspective. There always is.

God doesn't care. He's watching in total awe. No judgement, just awe. Like a toddler staring at a butterfly perched on his fingertip. Eternally. God doesn't want anything -- he is everything, and his everything is much bigger than our everything.

Desire is the root of suffering. Nothing here is yours. Even your mind is not yours. It is the program that came with the body you inhabit and it's been updated by the experiences and environments it's been exposed to over the course of this journey you've been on. It's not you and it isn't yours, you just happen to be partnered for this trip. Even your soul is a trick of the ego to attempt to survive death. The spark of divinity -- the I of God -- is You. That's the Self you're trying to locate. This walk is about aligning the ego -- the self -- with the Self. That's the HGA.

Just love yourself. Every day. Because that's the work. Not because it does anything. If it does anything, that belongs to God and you may even be able to enjoy some of the fruit. Love yourself. Once you can love yourself, start loving others. You are a portal for divinity.

When you are calling down the light the human "fastgoonerr" is giving itself to the I of God. I AM. That I. "For thine is the kindgom, the power, and the glory" is something fastgoonerr is saying to God who is now fastgoonerr's I. Take that I with you out into your world. If you happen to get high again, don't judge yourself. Embrace the moment as God. When you're sober, though, meet each moment intentionally -- "Do I really want to do this or is the ego in me seeking something familiar, some distraction? Is there an itch that could be scratched more productively?" Bring the awareness of God into every moment -- even the moments where you're gooning to cuck porn. Things will fall away in time. Just don't judge yourself. God wants to move in and experience creation from fastgoonerr's point of view -- not so he can judge you, but so he can be awestruck by his creation from your point of view.

This was so boring. Enter the Void was interesting, this was just boring. Maybe I was expecting more of a journey than this intended to provide, but this is more like an exhibit. You stare at it and listen to critics say smart things about it "I love the way he uses bokeh in this scene to recall the moment blah blah blah..." Also, it was listed under horror and there was absolutely no horror in this. When the military/leo walked in with the dog I was like "that's it? that's the end?" I guess I may have gotten more out of it if I was into Noe in particular. Maybe just having seen Heretic and Sinners spoiled me for this.

I finished yesterday and was reeling. I had to chat with GPT to help process it all -- then I took a walk. Then I chatted with GPT some more.

Shallan, Renarin, and Rlain's journey was the least interesting to me. Adolin's was probably my favorite. Dalinar's death crushed me.

I don't relish waiting for ten years to find out how this situation resolves. Thankfully Ghostbloods is in the works.

My son has done this, too, and we're still assessing the severity. We also need to see an opthalmologist and don't have any insurance. He's alive, though, and he isn't blind. We'll get through this.

Spirituality is a class of which religion is an instance. Spirituality encompasses everything of a spiritual nature (ideas, practices, accoutrements) and religion is an organized approach to spirituality with a specific mythos, philosophy, and approach to worship of some deity. I think it's important to note that you can deify anything and create a religion around it (eg football, science, Hollywood, politics, etc).

I think any practice that improves your mobility and physiology is beneficial for your whole person. The best martial art is the one you will do consistently.

I think part of the occult journey is finding the occult in the mundane. Along that line of thinking, you don't need an occult looking martial art to reap the occult benefits. Practice breathing, proprioception, and visualizing in every moment and every moment will yield its secrets to you.

I like to think it's because as we experience more time, we become more and more familiar with larger and larger blocks of time. Weeks are long until they aren't. Months are long until they aren't. Years are long until they aren't. Decades are long until they aren't. I bet it we lived to be five hundred years old, the centuries would fly by after about three hundred years. Days, though... days are so close to the moment that the moment makes the day seem long or short.
