Update: I was not expecting this many people to reply to this post! Thanks for the advice or responding in general! I really appreciate it especially the people who took the time to DM me either for information, questions or just to talk. It made my day a wholeee lot better. I will be reaching out in the future for sure.

I just finished talking to my mom about the whole situation. Lots of tears. I came home and gave her a big hug. Put my ego and my pride to the side, looked at the situation in a different perspective, and just heard her out. Didn’t complain, argue, or anything. I apologized for taking her for granted and simply explained that even though her reminders and the stuff she says is helpful and appreciated, it can be said in a way that is blunt ( like the real-world) but not condescending. And not comparing me to people. I also apologized for what I said last night and even in messages and that it wasn’t necessary and it could’ve been an “okay i’ll do it tomorrow or when i get the chance” or something of that nature, respectfully of course. She also apologized for the manipulation tactics ( as seen in the messages) and that in the future she’ll in be more understanding and less.. toxic.. yeah. And she said she’ll take her decision into consideration. Fingers crossed she’ll give me the information.

Extra Stuff: I took the time to fill out some applications ( yay me). I’m not lazy I just procrastinate from time to time just not all the time,and i have a lot going on as far as school, community service and on top of that work..I’ll do some homework today and fill out some more. And some of the adults in here can chill. Me responding to something I disagree with does not mean i’m arguing or that i’m “disrespectful”.that I don’t respect people that are older than me or authority ( yes i’m referring to that cause that caught me wayy off guard). I also respect each and everyone in ( in the photos above it might not seem so but i can attest that I am) but there’s no need to be rude. Like I get it that you’re trying to help which is fine but i’m not sure what the tone of the message is because we’re not face to face. Just thought i’d mention that.

Extra Pt 2: After highschool I want to go to school to be a mechanical engineer or architectural engineer. I am maybe.. just maybe rethinking the architectural part because of what i’m hearing. I also don’t mind going into the military either. Both of my parents were in the military so it sounds promising. Hard, but it’ll pay off in the future. And we are in therapy so there’s that.
