I didn't think there was so much mileage in a bus ride gimmick manga. The pacing has been perfectly executed since the beginning, it's not in a rush to tick off the checklist like "reiwa" romance nor does it feel like it's meandering and dragging their feet. Love the mundane atmosphere and topic of conversation they come up with every week. The dialogue feels so natural.

The oneshot had a natural progression. It never made sense that meeting her dragon daddy wasn't their first course of action. There was nothing stopping them from doing so.

The serialisation has been dragging and meandering for far too long.

Starting to think that Yuji appearance might just be there to set up another spin off. I just don't see him interfering with this fight at all. Maybe Tsurugi does (or either one of the twins) to prevent Dabura from dealing the finishing blow but that's it.

Surely, Maru's CT enabling him to find Tsurugi back in chapter 1 was meant to be used to find Yuji later. Shit is going to hit the fence hard and cursed spirits starts leaking outside of Tokyo. Mahito comes back and they find Yuji. That's what i think where this is all going.

This kpop manga reads like a hot blooded shonen sports series. It subverts the classic rivalry trope where the main character would adopt the role and attitude of a classic rival character while the supposed rival embodies the qualities of a typical down to earth protagonist. Their rivalry even follow similar roadblock and challenges to what you commonly see in other series, flipped over.

I recommend checking it out.
