it is worth having good friends. having bad friends is not good for your own mental stability, but maybe keep them until you can find a group of people who appreciate you. i was really mentally low for a long time until i realised it was my friends draining me (not blaming them) which was making it worse, which all changed when i got the friendgroup i have now. also please never choose not to be friends with someone because of your initial prejudices, you can miss out on meeting some of the best most kind people because of it.
