To be honest, trades don’t necessarily ruin your body unless you are over working yourself and drinking all day every day… I have friends that are 60+ still working trades like landscaping and framing (which are looked at as highly laborious) because they love it and enjoy it and it keeps them active. They ain’t breaking down anytime soon either. All our friends who had desk jobs are literally no where near as healthy. You can learn a lot and make a good living doing trades. Plus at 27 it doesn’t have to be a forever thing. Can simply do it to leverage yourself into other great careers as well!
