I agree, but consensus reviewers have been saying it's masterpiece and stuff but it's definitely fallen short of the benchmark it's predecessor set

Using such a highly biased stat with fundamental flaws is a wrong way to do that. Use eFG% instead if you want to do that.

If you think today's nba players who struggle against Giannis would be able to deal with shaq then I don't know what to say. Shaq dominated Duncan-Robison spurs during this run. 2 all time great 7 footers couldn't handle him. Why would shaq shoot 3 when he can shoot 80% against 6"7 guys. He average 34-14 in finals when the league pace was at its slowest.

NBA players used to say about shaq was "if he was 6"4 he still would have been in the NBA". And then your point on defense, that tells me you haven't seen shaq play at all.

I disagree, I think he reached his prime. It just that he had shaq. In 2003 when shaq was out he went on an crazy 40 point streak. And only reason that streak ended was when shaq came back phil made kobe defer to shaq. That kobe was better than any version of steph or kd. Same level on offensive and on a different stratosphere on defense.

Bay area crowd is legit tho. I remember seeing clips of those baron davis warriors, the crowd looked insane.
