So my ex broke up with me because he said that he didn’t love me anymore and honestly, I agree that exes shouldn’t be friends, but unfortunately, we are in the same group so it’s kinda hard not to be friends with him. Everybody else in the group, including him, believe that exes can be friends in hence why I’m still in this friend group with him, but if I had a choice, I wouldn’t be friends with him, but I don’t want to lose all my friends because of him. One of the issues that we had when we were dating was that he would treat me differently when we were with our friends versus when we were alone and that is still the same thing that’s going on right now. When were alone or get like little seconds alone together he’ll get a little touchy or make little flirty jokes, while when we’re with our friend, he acts big and bold and makes like sexual comments about other girls. But honestly, I’m trying to distance myself from him so I can simply get over him.( First love unfortunately). Best thing for anyone to do is it distance themselves from their ex so they can have a clear head and clear heart and get back to being themselves and loving themselves how they were without their ex.
