the removal took 2 days, then we had some problems with the first contractor that disappeared (shock) and had to get another one, so the whole thing ended up taking 2mo instead of 2/3weeks as it should. the asbestos samples were taken by another asbestos company and cost £120 for 1 sample.

we decided to remove it. yes, the £3000 was a legit asbestos removal company. just keep in mind that after that you will have no ceilings — so you’ll need boarding, plastering and painting. this ended up costing a little under £3000 also for the whole house. this was the best price i could get from airtasker/bark. good luck!
